"Go Lucario!" The man said, releasing his Pokemon. The Lucario roared. It was ready for a fight.
Lucario level 10
Attacks: Metal Claw, Counter, Quick Attack, Dark Pulse
HP: 25
"Use Metal Claw....on the trainer," he said, cheating. His Lucario ran at Catoris using it's Metal Claw, getting ready to attack her instead of her Pokemon. This guy really was evil.

The Lucario's claws caught Catori's arm, and managed to rip part of the sleeve of her t shirt as well. Still, she'd gotten off lightly, having ducked in time to stop the pokemon from doing serious damage to anything and shielding her face with her arms.
"Big mistake." she hissed. "Next time, think before you attack. Rei, Psywave!" Rei nodded, and moved infront of the two girls, sending a psychic blast towards the Lucario. Catori couldn't help but smirk a little. Lucario was part Fighting-type, which meant Rei's psychic attacks would be stronger against it. |

Lucario dodged the attack. The man was about to do more when a noise could be heard. A Latios was passing through. It had been looking for it's younger sister. Once he saw what was going on he sent both the man and the Lucario flying with DragonBreath. (I know you can't have both but I thought it would be interesting to have Latios appear since you caught Latias.)

Bellsprout ducked as this legendary pokemon shot the two criminals away. It's gaze quickly traveled to Tamiko. It ran towards her and wrapped its vines around her leg, affectionately. Tamiko patted it's head, trying to be a comfort. The two turned around to stare down at the pink egg. "Beeeell." Bellsprout said, stepping closer to the mysterious egg. "I... I guess I've got my second pokemon." She said as she reached down to pick the egg up again. She brushed the dirt off the bottom. "Hello Happiny." Tamiko pressed her ear to the shell, listening for life. There was a baby growing in there and she was excited to see it.

Catori grabbed Rei and pulled her to the ground, covering her from the Latios's attack and hugging the ghost pokemon tightly. When the man and his Lucario had been blasted away, she pulled herself up from the ground slowly, and Rei floated back to eye level with the girl.
Catori turned to Tamiko quickly, and smiled when she saw that the girl and her pokemon were okay. The two of them were looking closely at the egg. Catori walked over slowly, with Rei following. "I'm glad you two are okay." she said quietly.
Then, she remembered the Latios above them, and glanced over slowly to the blue and white pokemon, slightly worried. "Thank you!" she grinned, waving to the pokemon. |

Tamiko nodded and let out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad you two are okay as well." She looked up at latios and waved as well. "That was... CRAZY!" she said, waving her free arm around excitedly. She jumped up and down while watching latios. Then she suddenly stopped. "Should we keep moving?" she said, blankly staring at the dead blissey up ahead.

Oh crap. Catori had been worried as soon as she'd seen Latios. She knew from the and stories that Latias and Latios were generally found in pairs. And she'd managed to get herself caught in the middle of one.
Perfect. Rei glanced over to Catori with a slightly confused expression, like she was trying to work out what her friend was going to do. The girl bit down hard onto her lower lip, and then eventually nodded once. I guess honesty is the best policy...
"Yeah." she said quietly, afraid of what Latios might do if- when, he found out the truth. |

Tamiko stood still in shock. Latios was speaking to Catori and Tamiko was witnessing it! She wanted to reach out and touch the large blue pokemon. Instead, she turned to look at Catori. How did she know where latias was?

Catori shut her eyes for a moment, trying to think. She was biting her lip again, even harder this time. Slowly, she turned to Tamiko and gave a sheepish smile, feeling awkward. "I missed something out, earlier." she admitted slowly.
Turning back to the Latios, she pulled a pokeball from her bag's strap, and held it tightly for a moment, before letting it rest on her palm, showing Latios. she knew she didn't have to add anything to it, it was obvious what she was telling him. |

What Catori was expecting had happened. The Latios went into a rage and started attacking. He wanted his sister back.

Fearfully, Tamiko ran over of the way of Latios' attack. She breathed heavily as she placed the Blissey's egg down and reached for her pokeball. However, she did not summon Bellsprout. She knew Latios was much stronger and did not want to harm Bellsprout. Worried eyes switched from the pokeball in her hand to the one in Catori's. She rubbed her eyes in a tired way then called for Catori. "Get over here!" she called.

Catori grabbed Rei and ran out of the way of Latios's attack, clutching the ghost pokemon, and her pokeball, tightly in her arms. She slipped, and fell onto the floor, dropping Rei and the Pokeball. The ghost pokemon picked it back up, and floated over to her trainer.
Catori began pulling herself up, and glanced from Tamiko to Latios briefly, following the other girl's instructions and moving swiftly to where she was standing. Then, she turned to Latios again, having taken the pokeball from Rei.
"Latios, please! We're not the enemy!" she called. "Please, calm down! I... I can explain what happened to you! Just don't hurt my friends!" |

Latios calmed down and floated in front of Catori, waiting for an answer.
