Chapter One: Enter Catori!

Tamiko's cheeks flushed with embarassment. "Y-yeahhh." she said, shyly but changed almost instantly. She smiled at her pokemon and the other trainer's pokemon. Then she remembered how rude she was being. "Oh! I'm Tamiko, and this," she said, directing a hand towards her grass-type pokemon "this is Bellsprout." She held out her other hand, waiting to be shook.

[Amy]

Catori nodded and took the girl's hand with a grin, shaking it lightly. "Catori," she smiled, before motioning to the Misdreavus next to her, "and this is Rei." She'd mentioned names once already, but Tamiko had fallen asleep at around that time, so she felt the need to go through the process again.

"Well, I guess we should keep moving." she stated, to no one in particular. Turning back to Tamiko and Bellsprout, she grinned again. "You guys coming with?"

Tamiko felt happiness creep down from her mind and tickle her stomach. She was traveling in larger company. She giggled a little to herself, which probably seemed strange. She nodded and walked towards Catori. "Rei is really something." she said, still amazed by such a pokemon. "What other pokemon do you have?" She stopped and grabbed a pokeball out of her pocket. "Bellsprout, return." As she spoke, the red flash seemed to absorb Bellsprout into the red and white ball.

Rei grinned at this comment, happily floating over to Tamiko and circling her head. Catori merely sighed jokingly. "Ugh, now she's gonna have a big head." Rei stuck her tongue out at her partner.

Nodding as Tamiko asked her a question, Catori smiled. "I have a Growlithe, a Shroomish, a Mareep and as of about two minutes ago, a Pikachu yet to be named." She laughed as they walked. "What about you?"

Tamiko laughed and nodded. She liked the idea of having so many pokemon yet she stuck with only one. She looked ahead and imagined herself training various pokemon. "No, I just have Bellsprout but I'm really looking forward to catching more." she replied.

[Amy]

Catori smiled and nodded. "So, you're planning on taking on the League, then? And facing the Gyms?" she asked. Rei was still smiling at Tamiko and floating around her, happy that the girl was impressed by her. Catori continued, "Or are you entering some of the Contests?"

Catori wasn't into serious pokemon battles, she'd known that for a long time. She could see why some people enjoyed it, but it wasn't her thing. Contests, on the other hand, she was more open towards. Ampi, her mareep, and Rei enjoyed entering them at times. Catori, on the other hand, found her passion in caring for and breeding Pokemon.

Tamiko's eyes grew wide and she looked at Catori. "Battles!!!" she said, with such excitement. She giggled at how foolish she must of sounded but didn't really care. She knew that most trainer's carried a lot of pokemon which made different gym leaders to battle but she was so picky about which pokemon she wanted to catch. Tamiko currently craved to find a happiny, rotom or a torkoal. She loved battling but love winning even more. Her parents were very competive which she kind of grew into as well. However, she loved her pokemon so much, she never pushed Bellsprout to do something it didn't want to. "I've never watched a contest before, I'm hoping I'll get the chance." Tamiko added.

((I'm going to sound stupid, probably but where did you get your trainer card? I cannot find good ones like that anywhere!))

Just as Tamiko said that, there was a Pokemon egg sitting right in front of her in the middle of the road it was bright pink in color.

Tamiko spotted a bright pink round object that she was nearing. She blinked in confusion but once she realized it was an egg, she quickly ran to it. She picked it up and looked it over, making sure it was alright then brushed it off. "W-wow!" she said as she clutched the egg close to her chest.

Catori grinned at Tamiko's response and nodded. "Aw, contests are a lot of fun." she smiled. She opened her mouth to add something to that, but that was when Tamiko suddenly darted off towards an object on the road.

Rei and Tori followed, and when Catori saw what it was, she grinned again. "Oh, wow." The little pink egg was now being clutched tightly by Tamiko, and Catori smiled. "Looks like you might have another pokemon sooner than you thought."

Rei, however, frowned. +Isn't it kind of weird that someone just left an egg lying there?+ the misdreavus asked, cocking her head-slash-entire body to the side.

far away there was a Blissey laying on the road. It was dead. Someone had killed it. So, that was this egg's mother. It looked as if the Blissey had been killed by another Pokemon.

Tamiko rubbed the egg but suddenly a horrible scent entered her nose. She coughed yet inhaled through her nose deeply. "Oh my gosh, it smells like... something's dead!" She looked around then squinted her eyes to see the lifeless figure of a Blissey. She gasped and looked at the end. "Holy... miltank..." She looked back at Catori and then down at her happiny egg again. She shook her head slowly.

Just then a man appeared,"Give me that egg now!" He demanded from Tamiko,"Or I'll kill you as well." He whiped his whip at Tamiko.

Tamiko look at the man and was silent. She slowly place the egg behind her and reached for her pokeball. Fear creeped up her spine. She was not confident enough that she could make this man change his mind but she was determined. "No." she growled from gritted teeth. She threw her pokeball and Bellsprout appeared out of it.

[Amy]

"Don't you dare!" Catori yelled, stepping forwards. She hadn't even had time to react to the sight of the Blissey's lifeless body lying on the road, but knowing that this guy was behind it had gotten her very riled up, and she clenched her fists.

"You worthless piece of crap! How could you do that to a Pokemon? To anything?!" As she shouted, Rei moved into position next to Tamiko's Bellsprout, ready to fight this guy off.
