The male Vaproeon still floated in the water, watching Shyara's ever move with awaiting eyes before the Mareep was released from it's Pokeball. Though the aquatic mammal could easily sight the fact that this sheep-like Pokemon was equal in strength to her unlike the Espeon, there was an incredibly large difference in type between them both. Electric and water.. With a mental note to simply be much more careful with his attacks and keeping within the water, Vaporeon wasted no time in opening it's mouth once more to flash a beautiful set of white fangs before an icy wind came roaring from the Pokemon's mouth with snow ball's mixing in with the strong gust of wind in a powerful Blizzard attack.

Shyara smiled softly and looked at her "Mareep dodge it and use your thundershock attack" she said with a smile as Mareep nodded her head and looked around before jumping over the pokemon and then fired its attack onto the water itself with a baa

After the blizzard attack was shot and successfully dodged by his opponent, Vaporeon gave a bitter scowl before submerging himself back within the water though the male's teal eyes widened as he heard Shyara's voice bounce off the rippling water and reaching the aquatic mammal's sensitive fin-like ears. However, the bolt of electricity that the Mareep sent to the pool reached it before the male could get more then his head above water, causing a yowl of pain to erupt deep from within the water Pokemon's throat ; type advantage proving effective.
However, with quite a bit of effort the Pokemon leaped out of the now deadly water and onto one of the platforms, his paw slipping for a moment but upon shaky paws, the Vaporeon stood with his pride still heavily intact, intently glaring at the Mareep. Another attack like that and it would be the end of him.. However, he was not about to go without a fight as another Blizzard attack came blowing strongly from his gaping maw.

Mareep who was bouncing around happily on his platform from the attack had his back turned looking at Shyara with a proud smile.
Shyara laughed but looked at the Vaporeon and gasped as its attack hit her pokemon biting her lip she tried to think of an attack she could use to counter but by the time one came into her head Mareep as down onto his knees near the water. Once the attack had ended her pokemon slowly got to his feet shaking slightly.
"Mareep use your thunder shock attack again" Shyara said looking at her Espeon who was standing by herside watching. She was now dry by this point.

Already deprived heavily of energy from the electric attacks, type difference still proved very competant as the Vaporeon attempted to dodge and jump to another platform however, a moment of hesitation due to the ache within his body led to the Gym Leader's ultimate defeat and Shyara's victory. With a cry of pain, the thundershock hit the soaking wet platform and the attack connected brutally with the water type. However, as the beast's azure blue optics closed in unconsciousness, the Pokemon was returned to it's Pokeball via a line of thin red vapor before he could fall far enough to reach the death trap that Mareep had turned the pool into for aquatic Pokemon. "Congratulations trainer.. You have defeated me," she said with a smile before traveling over to the other side of the pool where Shyara stood. "So, as the Gym Leader of Sendai Village, I present you with this bag and this gift," she stated and handed Shyara the bag of Sendai Village and a Hidden Machine!

Shyara smiled softly as she took the badge and the HM looking at the Gym leader she smiled "Thanks...I...am sorry if I hurt your Vaporeon to much" She added biting her lip as she looked at Shady "Thanks again" she added with a smile as she turned picking up her Espeon as best as she could so she didnt have to limp and exited the gym.
