As a few of the submitted character applications lacked in detail i decided that i should make this announcement for future reference, and to help out the less experienced RP'ers.
First of all, i am willing to help with anything you wish to know about role playing, i will not judge,yet simply help sort out your dilemma.
A Guide
This is a guide on different amounts of detail which will get you more or initially less respect for posting.
As a quick example, i am going to do multiple character descriptions and show contrasts between lengths.
Lacking in Detail:
He is male, has blonde hair and dresses in brightly coloured clothes.
Acceptable:
He is a male Pokemon trainer, his hair is grown to shoulder length and it is best described as a dirty or dark blonde colour.
He likes to wear skinny jeans of many bright colours, and he likes to have a stripy sweater to keep him warm.The sweater is red and black, also it's a bit tattered and torn as it has been worn on numerous occasions.
More than expected but is the most rewarding:
I will simply improve the acceptable version using a more complex vocabulary and a variation of connectives.
He is a male Pokemon trainer and choses to have his hair in a messy look,it is a blend of dark and light shades of blonde.
On his bottom half he wears skin tight jeans of luminous such as yellow,red and green.Moving on to his torso, on his upper-body sits a striped sweater of red and black, he can always been seen wearing this as it is inseparable to him and keeps him warm.Judging by his sweater it has been warn many a time, and he has performed harsh activities whilst wearing the garment.
