Terra entered the ruins. She was there, simply to train. Trouble was, her two weakest Pokemon were easily scared, and one of them had never fought. She clutched a Pokeball in her hand. In that Pokeball was her very weakest Pokemon, a Riolu named Dittelia. She stepped carefully through the dark shaows, searching for any Pokemon at all.

As the trainer entered into the ruins, two crimson eyes carefully watched her from the shadows, silently snickering at the fact that this little human was unaware of her presence. Then, an ear piercing screech filled the ruins and frightened a few Zubat from their perches within the high roof and induced a trio to swoop down and zoom past Terra's head and out of the ruins in a frenzy. However, the Pokemon lurking in the shadows was not done yet as she appeared from her hiding place ; a wild Misdreavus with a sly smirk upon her lips as she sent a few transparent waves towards the trainer in a psywave attack!

Terra jumped, frightend as the Zubat swooped overhead. Before she calmed down, a gostly figure appeared. Terra was struck with fear. She flinched as the psywave hit her. As she recovered from the attack, she realized it was a Pokemon assulting her. Gulping air to calm herself. Terra threw the Pokeball, and a shiny Riolu, slightly weaker then the Misdrevious came out.
"Ri!" cried the tiny Pokemon. Terra nodded, then readied herself to battle.
"Dittelia! Use Bullet punch!" She commanded. The tiny pokemon flew at the misdrevious with blinding speed, using the attack that she had been bred for.

Bullet Punch, eh? The sly smirk grew somewhat, as she nimbly avoided the attack, considering the fact she was.. levitating. Ah, the advantages of being a ghost Pokemon. Sneering now, she circled the Riolu in a confusing manner, before pausing to send a Shadow Sneak attack. But, again, she was not done; shifting to another location, she sent a Psywave at them both, enjoying herself.

Terra closed her eyes, realizing her disadvantage. Ghost types were impervious to fighting moves. Upon failing her attack, Dittelia's confidence faltered. She stopped moving and looked around fearfully as the Shadow Sneak hit her. Before she recovered, the Psywave hit. Terra attemted to sheild herself, then whipped out her Pokedex. She could come up with a strategy, but she needed time. Trying to stall, she looked at her cowering Pokemon, Terra called out,
"Come on Dittelia! Endure!" The small Riolu obeyed.

The Misdreavus grew more confident as the Pokemon weakened, and as the trainer attempted to think up a plan. She could taste the fear not so far off - not to mention, the Riolu was already cowering.. Its terror fed her, filled her with energy. If a Misdreavus could laugh, she would have. Whirling around the two, she sent random Psywaves and Shadow Sneak attacks at them, timing the gaps between the attacks quite well.

Dittelia cowered as the attacks hit her. She was able to continue standing thanks to her previous Endure, but the effect was quickly wearing off. Terra's eyes widened as shn realized what she should have done from the start.
"Man, I'm dumb! Dittelia! Use Foresight, then follow up with a Bullet Punch!" The Riolu, not having much choice, complied, using Foresight to enable her next move to hit, then pushed her tiny body off the ground. Dittelia moved with amazing speed and increased confidence.

A furious grunt escaped the Misdreavus as the attack hit. She was thrown back a foot or so, and she shook herself to recover. Now growing more irritated than confident and or cocky, she sent another Psywave at the Pokemon.

Dittlia, reacting naturally, dived behind a decaying bit of furniture. She managed to avoid the attack in this way. Panting heavily, she staggered slightly. Unsure of a better option, Terra called for Dittelia's strongest attack.
"C'mon, use Bullet Punch again! Aim carefully!" Dittelia took a moment to recover before launching herself at the ghost. She was starting to doubt her ablity. She was basing her confidence off of that of her trainer.

Ugh, since Bullet Punch was such a powerful attack and foresight was now in effect, rendering his special ghost abilities useless, it effected her like any other Pokemon. The Misdreavus stumbled back slightly but still managed to catch herself. Still with a higher HP then the Riolu, the Misdreavus smirked slyly, this battle would be over soon enough with this weaker opponent! Regaining a bit of her cockyness and confidence as the Riolu seemed to be losing a bit of faith, the Pokemon sent another Psywave at Dittlia. |

As Dittelia was hit with the psywave, she staggered, but luckily, did not fall. Terra saw the look in her Pokemons eyes, and realized the risk. She lifted up a Pokeball in each hand. "Dittelia! Return! Freya, you've got to give it a shot!" The Buneary came forth from the ball, it's cyan coloring appearing incandecant in the weak light. Freya looked around, quite wary of this new setting. She was uncomftorble with the creepy atmosphere, and the sight of the Misdreivous struck fear somewhere deep inside of her. Terra decided she had to act strong to make up for Freyas shyness. "C'mon Freya!" She called feircly "Give it an Ice Punch!" The ice glittered as the small Buneary propelled itself through the air, hoping to hit the other Pokemon.
