Fork in the road

Shyara contineud to walk soon stopping at a road. "Well Shady where do you think we should go...towards the ruins or shall we continue our journey and head to the next town" she asked looking down at her friend before pulling a coin out of her pocket. "Heads we go to the ruins...Tails we go to the next town" she smiled softly as she looked at Shady. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and flicked the coin waiting to hear it fall which seemed to be ages.

[Naze]

As the coin began fell and landed upon it's middle, spinning.. spinning.. It was about to land on one side when a blur of creamy fur snatched up the coin and began to run but stopped an foot or two away from Shyara. It was a small Meowth, eyeing the coin with glimmering raven eyes and paying no mind to the trainer he just snatched it from it seemed until he glanced back at the group, hissing bitterly towards them as if a warning to stay away.

Shyara looked at the meowth and smiled "wow" she said "now im going to have to do my toin coss all over again" she muttered giving a small laugh as Shady stepped infront of her. Smiling still she said one simple word....well actually three "Shady...quick attack"
Shady nodded as she ran towards the meowth picking up speed quickly as she lunged at the wild pokemon

[Naze]

The Meowth watched as Shyara ordered her Espeon to attack. Already, he could sense quite well that her Pokemon was quite stronger then her, stronger by far.. But that didn't mean much to him, against winning his coin and getting to keep it? He would do anything to get his stolen pocket change. So as the Quick Attack charged towards him, he unsheathed his claws and lunged at Shady in hopes of a Fury Swipes attack as the Espeon was attacking him.

[Kat]

Shady charged right through the attack of the fury swipes slicing her back and her paws as she did so stopping she turned and went to attack again on Shyara's orders. Smiling gently she watched her pokemon eagerly. "come on Shady you can do it" she said with a smile as she watched carefully.

[Naze]

Rather surprised that the Espeon shot through his fury swipes, the Meowth stumbled as he landed on all fours. Rather unsuspecting of such a swift counter attack, the feline Pokemon gave a yowl of pain as the Quick Attack connected into his creamy furred side, causing him to slide a good foot or two away from his opponent.

However, he staggered upwards. He would not be defeated so easily! And with that, the Meowth sent a few golden coins from it's head piece at Shady in a Pay Day attack.

Shady backed away slightly as she was pelted with golden coins. Shaking her head slightly as she stood their her head bowed to try and at least protect her face. Shaking slightly as she looked at Shyara before looking back towards the Meowth. She really hadnt expected such a determined pokemon.
Shyara winced when Shady was hurt as moved circled through her mind. "Shady Use your shadowball attack" she said.
Shady nodded her head as she gathered energy and then shot at the meowth with the attack

[Naze]

The Meowth gave a delighted hiss as his attack connected. This Pokemon may have been stronger but he was not about to give up easily! Or rather, he wasn't about to give up his stolen penny that easily.. the Meowth gave an affectionate kiss to the coin before leaping with powerful back paws, evading Shady's Shadow Ball and sending another Pay Day attack towards the Espeon while still in the air before plummeting down, intending to land upon his enemy and slash it with his long, feline claws.

Shady backed away again her head bowed once more so she could at least see where she was going once the attack was over. Looking around she hissed slightly not seeing the Meowth till she looked up. By that time the meowth had landed on her back. Running around in a circle bucking like a wild horse would do if someone would ride it.
Shyara shook her head as she watched. "I dont care it can keep the coin" she muttered "i just want the pokemon" she started to think. "Shady your going to have to use quick attack again and run into the tree sideways" she said seeing a nearby tree.

[Naze]

The wild Meowth still clung to Shady despite the creature's bucking, it's claws digging into the Espeon's skin underneath it's purple fur. So intent upon holding on, the Meowth was taken by surprise as he was rammed into a nearby tree, pain enveloping his creamy furred body and with a sharp yelp, his claws released Shady though purple fur still stuck between each silvery claw. A bit dazed from the sudden collision, the wild Meowth seemed to be too disoriented for a moment to regain his proper balance..

Wild Meowth Is Now Catchable!

Shyara looked at it before quickly taking a pokeball from her satchel and throwing it at the Meowth. Running over to Shady she bit her lip. "Hey girl" she whispered softly as she knelt down gently stroking the Espeon's fur gent as she watched the pokeball from the corner of her eye.

[Kell]

The dazed Meowth barely saw the pokeball that hurtled towards him. It was shiny, but it surely wasn’t money. A confused growl escaped from his mouth, seeing the red light that enveloped him soon after. The pokeball shook once, twice, three times, and with a soft click, it stirred no more.

The Meowth has been captured! It is now part of your team.

Shyara smiled softly and looked at the pokeball going over to it she picked it up before returning to her Espeon's side. "you okay girl" she whispered softly before smiling weakly "looks like we are heading back to the pokemon center again" she said with a small giggle as she walked towards he pokemon center in Sendi village once more. "Once we have you healed up girl we will get going." she added as she smiled at the pokemon that limped beside her.
