Important Announcement
I'd like everyone to read this, so all members and admins please pay attention to this message.
Only two people knew about this slightly before this message so for you two it shouldn't come as a large shock. But I'd like to share this important information with all of Kyoto.
First of all, I'd like to state that I am the new and official head admin of Kyoto Region. After speaking with Copey through his DeviantART account he stated that he was quite busy with his school work and probably wouldn't be returning to Kyoto Region. Along with that, he deemed me the new head admin.
For those of you that have been here for quite a long time and knew Copey, he was a positively superb admin and I'm rather honored that he'd think of me to be his replacement.
With that, I'm also deciding on moving Kyoto Region to a new forum. This new forum will have extremely minor differences that shouldn't effect the roleplay in the least. However, I'd like for everyone to post below if you have a recommendation you'd like me to take into consideration.
I've Only One More Announcement..
If Kell and Thym will take me up on this offer, I'd like for both of them to become admins on the new forum since my position of admin will be left open and I'm heavily considering demoting Cherri-Chan and Darkei due to their inactivity and the fact that neither of them have modded a thread. I'd simply prefer more active members to take up their positions. Yes, that does leave three spots open ; I'll be taking applications for the qualification of moderator when the new site opens which can be expected in the period of late this month.

I was wondering if we are going to be able to transfer character if you are still going to be moving the Kyoto Region to a new forum.

Why try to move when your forums are going so well here? Moving takes a lot of work and time, and it would also discourage some members to not want to stay with Kyoto any longer as it would involve having to get their characters reapproved and having to post so much again just to get to the point where they were.

Quite true. I didn't realize that we'd have more threads and such as we do. However, I have no power to promote or demote here, and that's quite distressing at the moment. Though I am heavily reconsidering moving, and just hoping that Remorse won't hold me in rancor if I retract this decision. [/size] |

Why not talk to the previous owner and explain the situation to him? I'm sure he would love to help you out with that when he has the time.

Yes, I'm currently discussing things with Copey at the moment however, there's an issue with communication due to the fact that he gets on dA for about one hour one day out of a week or two. |

Ummm ... Hi, I'm sorta new and all but I was wondering if I could throw in a suggestion.
I was wondering if you guys ever thought of doing monthly and birthday promos. For those who don't know about promo's the staff team host them and they give out pokemon or items, but mainly pokemon. Sometimes, they make you choose for a pokemon and if you don't want it you can have some items. Sometimes they even say any that is non legendary and is a basic pokemon with a certain type. Recently at Remoor there was one where you could choose a basic, level 5 pokemon that was either fire, flying, or steel and all pokemon before this promo would gain three levels including the promo's pokemon.
But it is just a suggestion. You don't have to use it unless you want to but it would help people get more pokemon and items easier every month.
