"It's been almost twenty years since I've seen home. Twenty years since the government locked us up in a city we thought was destroyed years ago. We can't escape. Though we've tried, there is a wall that just traps us in. We can't climb it...no, no! Trust me, we've tried to get our asses over it...but because of our attempts of attempting to scale the wall, there are reinforcements waiting for us. Just to shoot us back down. We're trapped... until our reinforcements come to save us."

Welcome to The City of Midnight, France. No longer does this beautiful city linger on the maps of Europe. It has been erased from the history books and all of existence. The older adults remember of the city's existence, the immortal dwellers remember it as well. Twas a beautiful town that was filled with people who lived in harmony with the creatures of the dark.

However, in January of 1979, the European government grew tired of their population falling for these monsters and decided to end their reign of "destruction" by creating false media to make these night crawlers look horrid. They invaded Midnight City not but two months later, wiping it clean of monsters and clearing it from the world.

Ten years later, the government soon noticed that there were all kinds of these freaks and monsters all over their country. They noticed that the strange population ranged from Alchemists to Werewolves. This did not make them as happy as they wanted to be.

In the summer of 1989, they took force and rounded up each and every supernatural individual and locked them into the mythical--forbidden city that was Ville de minuit, France.

Now twenty years later, a group of nobles have been planning a war to strike back and escape. The dates and time of this strike back is unknown...but it'll come sooner or later.
