Favorite male Pokemon character?

Didn't add poll because I'm lazy and I don't know all of the male characters.

Roark and Steven Stone. I want Steven Stone to reappear in one of the following games and Roark to follow you around like a groupie. .///.;
That little dude, whom had green hair and was in the Elite Four in Diamond and Pearl was cuddly. xD

I personally was always a fan of Lance when playing the older games but I always thought that Riley was really cool too in Diamond and Pearl. I remember naming my Riolu after him, lol.

Well, if we're going by the anime, I have /always/ adored James because he is so wonderfully and amazingly dumb. I think he's one of the few characters that has real personality, haha. Plus, I always laughed when he got his head chomped by Victreebel, got stuck by Cacnea, and chomped by Carnivine.

Also judging by the anime... Byron. I was nearly in tears by the end of the episode where he fought Ash. "I LOVE BASTIODON!" "I LOVE DEFENSE!"

...bahahaha.

I have a strong attachment to characters from RBY too, since Blue and Diamond are the only games I've played. c= I love Lt. Surge and Brock (in the game and whatever episodes I've seen).

And then from the newer games, I'm really into Roark too. c:

nah, he's really cute. x3 I was a fan of Volkner's when I first played the game, but now he's just eh, and Roark grew on me.

I can't decide on my favorite male character. I suppose tied for first would be Steven Stone, Lance, and Gary Oak/Blue/Green.

My second favorite would have to be a npc boy from pokemon Crystal was was stalking my character.
