Kennedy O'Ryan
Not that it's any of your business, but my name is Kennedy Ann O'Ryan. Yeah, it's a mouthful but I like it. It has some real character behind it, y'know? I'm sixteen and you don't have to point out that I'm starting my journey late, I'm well aware of that fact. We'll get to why that is, later. I blow out the candles on my strawberry-iced birthday cake on March 12, which makes me a Pisces. I'm every bit like any description of a Pisces you've ever read, but I have a couple of other defining qualities up my sleeve.
If you can't tell by my beautiful mug shot up there, I'm a chick with blonde hair, green eyes and I'm kinda tall at 5'7". I enjoy long moonlit walks on the beach, dinner by candlelight… Haha, just kidding! I enjoy the company of men, however I'm not looking to have one attached to my side like the drooling puppies that men can become.
So! You wanna know some more details about wonderful, wonderful me, right? Of course you do.
I can be kind of in-your-face sometimes. Not intentionally, of course. It's just… I'm kinda loud and distinctive. Usually I couldn't care less about what kind of impression I make on the people around me. Of course, I'm never particularly rude or crass. It just sorta happens sometimes, so my apologies in advance if you're one of my victims. Despite my devil may care attitude, I really DO care about many things, like my family and Pokemon for instance. I don't really have that many friends, but that's okay. I have plenty of time before I die to make them.
Let's see… what else is there? Oh, right. At the risk of sounding cliche, I like a good adventure every now and again, which is why I'm getting ready to finally set out on my Pokemon journey. Of course, being outdoors so much might be a bit of a bummer for me at first… Ah, well, I guess I'll have to get used to it. Maybe it will be no different than farm work was. Anyway, if you see me along your trail, don't be afraid to say hello. I won't say that I don't bite but, hey, at least I don't have rabies~!

All right, now anyone who's reading this little autobiography is probably way past wondering why I am starting my Pokemon journey at sixteen. The answer is simple, but I've gotta tell you some backstory before I dive right into it.
My family consists of my dad, Nolan, my sister McKenzie, and my mom, Trina. Yes, that's really her name and don't bother asking me why my grammy didn't add the "Ka" in front of it, because I don't know. Anyway, we all used to live in Johto, right outside of Olivine City at a place you might be familiar with; the original Moo Moo Milk Farm. Of course, now we've got branches of the farm all over the place… which kinda makes it corporate, right? Anyway, that's where we lived and, for the most part, I loathed it.
Now, don't get me wrong. Miltank are cute little critters and all, but after one is forced to muck out stalls for six years, it's quite easy to hate them.
Our family, of course, prospered as the word about the restorative properties of our Moo Moo Milk got around. The farm just kept growing and by the time I was thirteen, we had over one hundred Miltank, three automated milking sheds, and we boarded Ponyta and Rapidash on the side. It was nice being able to afford anything we wanted, but McKenzie and I were always so busy doing stuff around the farm that neither of us ever had the time to start our own Pokemon journey.
We grew to feel like our parents depended on us and we were vital to the farm's proper functioning. That was, of course, partially true. We had hired help, but none of them ever quite got the knack and speed for farm chores that McKenzie and I did.
It's funny, because the more our farm grew, the less mom and dad had to work. McKenzie and I worked more out of habit than necessity at this point. My parents, thoroughly discontent with all the leisure time that they had, concocted the brilliant idea that we should move somewhere else and start our little farm all over again.
Dad insisted that it would be fun, but I begged to differ. I hadn't hand-milked a Miltank in ages and I was in no hurry to do it again. Needless to say, when parents have an idea fixed in their head, it happens no matter what.
That's how we all ended up in the Kyoto region. My parents and McKenzie are still getting things set up here, which is precisely why I was allowed to start on my Pokemon journey. I guess in the end my hard work and dedication to the farm for more than half my life paid off.
I never dreamed I would be able to have any Pokemon other than a pet Miltank or two and now I'm getting ready to be on my way to Acorn Town for my first Pokemon! How exciting is that? Pretty frickin' exciting, if you ask me!
