Paws is a very loyal, devoted Pokemon. He loves his trainer more than he loves his naps. He's also very, very protective of her, and tends to start hissing and glaring when people make her upset. He's her favorite, and she tends to go into black rages if someone insults him or harms him.

Shayne doesn't do what River wants him to because she wants him to. He does it because he knows his master is depending on him. He doesn't think of River as his trainer, more like a temporary set back. But he does what she says, most of the time. He's the second favorite.

Nunally is the exact opposite of the rest of her type - she hates scaring people. So much, in fact, that she refused to learn the move Scary Face. She's shy, timid, and soft spoken. However, she has a hateful streak in battle, and fights dirty. She's the fourth favorite.
