Tsukia walked through the ruins, her starter pokemon Seisui the Buizel at her side. She had wanted to come to the ruins for a very long time, so the first thing she did after arriving at Sendai village and healing her pokemon was to go right to the ruins and explore. "This place seems pretty cool, eh?" She asked. Inago her Paras, his name meaning Grasshopper in Japanese, blinked in boredom. Seisui on the other hand seemed spooked, jumping at the tiniest of noises. "Bui..." He moaned. "Don't be such a chicken. I just want to look around a bit and then we'll get back to training for the gym." The teen looked around her, picking up the occasional piece of rubble, and then tossing it to the ground. "Buiiiii..." Seisui whined, louder this time. "C'mon!" The girl called, walking ahead of the water type pokemon. The Buizel shivered. He was getting a really bad feeling about this place, and it was creeping him out. Shaking it off, the oddly colored pokemon ran after his trainer, wanting to keep an eye on her. She couldn't feel it, but he could. He knew this place was bad news. Besides, if Tsukia died who would buy him Ketchup?

As the trio wondered around the eerie ruins, two dark eyes watched them from the shadows before almost all light disappeared from the room in a thick haze that smelled like a sickening poison. However, it did not take long for a black orb to appear within the smog, smirking a sadistic smile towards the three that would now be his new victims. Too many strong trainers came within these ruins and saw Gastly like himself but easily blew him away with a good Gust attack from a Pidgeotto or a surf attack from a Blastoise. But now, all this little girl was armed with was a pathetic Buizel and a little Paras! It made him smirk with dark joy before sending a wave of Hypnosis towards the Paras.

Tsukia looked in shock as Inago got hit with the attack, making him fall asleep. "Dang..." She muttered, picking up the bug and grass type pokemon. She looked around, trying to figure out where the attack came from and spotted a Gastly. "Awesome! Hey, Seisui, are you up for a battle?" She grinned, seeing as ghost types were her favorite. "Bui.." The water fox pokemon said, still a little nervous, but taking his place none the less. "Alright... Normal type moves won't work here... So try using Water Gun!" The Buizel sent the attack right at the other pokemon.

As the water gun was fired by the Buizel, the Gastly was easily able to shrink back into the smog with the water attack falling to the floor in a miss. However, it was much easier for the Gastly to seemingly materialize from the smog beside both Tsukia and Seisui, allowing his long pink tongue to loll from his fanged mouth and then send it in a Lick attack at Seisui from his side.

"Buiii!!" Seisui yelled as he got hit by the attack, jumping a few feet away from the other pokemon. "Are you okay...?" Tsukia asked, wondering if she should switch him out and put Inago in, even though the bug and grass type was asleep he could try to paralyze the other pokemon once he woke up. Seisui got up, waiting for an order. The teen nodded, closing her eyes to think. Quick attack is useless in this situation... So I'm stuck with just water gun... She blinked. Or am I...? "Okay, Seisui, use quick attack to find an opening, then water gun!" It worked when they fought Inago, so maybe it would work here as well..

That was close. A bit too close, but not close enough. The Gastly sneered chillingly, before it dove toward the Buizel, attempting to get closer. Then, though shaky due to not mastering the attack, it allowed electricity to arrive. Surprising to see a Gastly use a move like Thunderpunch, eh? Exactly why you had to watch out whenever you're battling, expect the unexpected - and that lesson would be learned right about now, with the ghost Pokemon barreling towards the Buizel in an attempt at Thunderpunch.

Tsukia's eyes widened. What?! It knows Thunder Punch?! She sighed, calling Seisui into his pokeball against his will, knowing that he was very close to fainting and he couldn't take another super effective attack. "Okay, Inago, it's your turn." She said, putting the Mushroom pokemon on the ground. He was still asleep, but hopefully he would wake up in time to battle the ghost type. Otherwise they would be in big trouble.

If a Pokemon could curse, the Gastly most likely would've as his undeveloped attack missed the young Buizel and a grimace stained his eerie lips. But, all was fine.. Or close to it. He could take on such a small little bug, if he couldn't then what kind of Pokemon was he? And with those thoughts of new self confidence, the Gastly let his long pink tongue loll out and shot at the Paras, aiming to hit the opponent with a Lick attack.
