A yawn escaped her pale pink lips, as she stretched her arms up as far as she could towards the sky. The sun was just about to rise, indicating dawn would come upon them soon. The slight breeze blew passed them as they walked along the winding path that would take them to the next town over. Tall trees lined the path, their leaves rustling with the breeze, along few bushes that lined the path as well. As Kira teetered along said path, Asero was running circles around her as she walked, full of energy as always. "I don't understand how you can be so full of energy..." Kira grumbled watching the peppy fuzzball run circles around her.

Mewtwo has been traveling with them for about a week now. He still wasn't completely open with them, and he rarely spoke, except with Axel. They had gotten him a cloak with a hood, so he wouldn't be so conspicuous. After all, a six foot talking cat was always very eye-catching. Not having a Pokeball for him, he simply remained outside walking alongside Kira, though he never fought for her, seeing as she hadn't gained his trust or respect yet. He merely watched her battles, but when it came to running away from that Team again, he fought on his own and so did Kira.

"Vee! Vee!" He exclaimed jovially, as he ran ahead of the two slowpokes. Rio, Pyrus, and Axel we're all still asleep in their Pokeballs. 'Lucky bums...' She thought picturing her other Pokemon still comfy and snug in their Pokeball, with their mouths agape and snoring loudly. 'Asero has gone into the tall grass.' Mewtwo's voice invaded her thoughts, breaking them and catching her attention. Kira looked around hastily finding her Eevee gone. "Oh shoot!" She exclaimed, worriedly she went into the tall grass after the energetic ball of fur. Mewtwo following them at his own pace.

It wasn't exactly angry. Just, a little irritated that some ball of fluffy fur decided to oh so excitedly prance into its territory. Sure, he probably wouldn't have kept it for long - but no one said he was protective of it while it lasted. "Bulba!" In a split second, the Pokemon was bolting toward the Eevee, barreling towards it in a Tackle attack.

Kira had finally spotted the ball of fluff, sniffing a stray flower in the tall grass. As she was about to call out, she heard the rustling of the tall grass growing louder and faster, something was coming towards them. "Asero! Evade!" Kira said hurriedly. Snapping from his relaxed state, he heard his trainer call, but before he could even process what she had said, he was tackled to the ground.

The tackle sent him a few feet away. Kira came running to his side, facing their opponent. "A Bulbasaur?!" She said surprised. You didn't see a Bulbasaur to often out in the open like that. Asero shook off his initial shock and stood back up. He winced slightly feeling the sting of the tackle on his right side. He'd have to be careful not to leave any openings to be hit again. "Alright Asero, use Tackle!" Kira said as Asero ran forward in a Tackle Attack towards the Bulbasaur, his nickname wasn't Ace for nothing, he had impeccable aim.

Mewtwo had caught up with them, and was watching Kira battle the Bulbasaur. Asero had a slight disadvantage since the Bulbasaur was stronger, Asero's hit would probably do only 3/4 of the damage he would of done if they were on the same level. He wondered if Kira was aware of that fact.

A very minuscule and sly smirk crept onto the wild Pokemon's lips, and it prepared itself for a battle. He was hoping it would be satisfying, to be able to defend its territory so easily - but he also knew that trainers were a second mind to their Pokemon, thus one disadvantage to cancel out the opponent's disadvantage. But no time to fully care. As the opposing Pokemon charged, the Bulbasaur broke into another dash, aiming another Tackle, but this time, hoping that they would both hit each other - for then, perhaps he would be able to gain the upper hand.

It was charging right at them! If she didn't think fast enough they were both going to collide. "Asero, to the right!" She commanded and Asero moved to the right in just enough time for them to both miss each other by a sliver. She didn't give either of them to time to think about it though. "Asero, about face and use tackle!" Using with what speed he was born with he tried to comply with his trainer's command as fast as he could, turning around and aiming a tackle at the Bulbasaur once more.

"Bulbaaa!" They missed each other, and then he felt a sharp sting of a tackle to his side. Surprised, he fell to the ground, but he shook himself off, glaring at the Eevee. Quite angry, it shifted so that its bulb was pointing directly at the opponent - and then fired a leech seed, and then another, before using a well timed Tackle.
