Arrival of the odd Scientist

A young woman yawned as she entered the pokemon center. It had been a long journey to get to Kyoto, or more specifically, Acorn Town. Now that she had arrived, the only thing on her mind was Heal her pokemon, get some food, and go to bed.

Unfortunately life isn't fair like that, as she had to log on to her laptop to record her journey so far, as well as answer any emails. Then she had to call her father to let him know she had arrived safely.

Enpowera sighed and walked up to the front desk, ringing a bell in hopes of catching the local Nurse's attention. While waiting for the nurse to arrive, a red beam of light shot out of her bag; her eevee had come out to play.

'Not again!' Enpowera sighed to herself, as she pulled out the eevee's pokeball, "Evan, return," a red beam of light shot out of the ball towards the shiny eevee, but he just dodged and ran off.

As the small Shiny Eevee did not get far as a string shot blasted from the unlit depths of the center, threatening to catch the eevee within it's sticky string. "Alright! I'm lucky! First this new Pokemon and now this, I'll get a promotion for sure!" a rather happy, young voice as a teenager stepped out of the shadows but sent a sharp glare towards Enpowera. "Who are you? Are you apart of Team Darkness? I don't remember having seen you.." the boy hissed with slight hostility, a Spinarak that had shot the String Shot perched like a Starly upon his shoulder while a rather.. odd Pokemon stood at his side, growling with fierce savagery at the trainer and her Pokemon. It appeared almost like a Vulpix but, appeared oddly colored with an extremely malicious red aura blazing around it.

"I'm afraid I'm taking this little furball if you're not apart of Team Darkness!" the male barked with a devious smirk before the Vulpix sent a blast of Hypnosis at the female trainer.


A Team Darkness Grunt Appeared And Sent Out..

Evan barely managed to avoid the string shot, sending a shadow ball towards whoever attacked him.

Enpowera felt sleepy as the hypnosis hit her. "You aren't taking Evan...." she murmured weakly, digging into her pocket and pulling out a pokeball. "Go Blast!"

A vaporeon appeared out of the pokeball in a beam of red light. He looked around confused, seeing his halfway asleep trainer, and

"Blast, use Hydro pump on that odd colored vulpix " Enpowera ordered.


Blast sent a hyrdo pump at the vulpix.

With a simple motion of his hand, the 'Alvah' Vulpix shot forward and dodged the Hydro Pump with agility that one would expect from a Floatzel. The fire-type growled harshly as she landed upon the tiled floor behind Evan, opening her gaping maw to release a large Fire Blast attack, claws unsheathing from her paws as the malicious red aura began to whirl viciously around the Vulpix.

"A Vaporeon too huh? I'll just settle for that little Eevee.." the grunt muttered before his Spinarak jumped from his shoulder and onto the floor, in a battle stance toward the lower level'd Vaporeon, only taking a step back to tense his muscles in preperation for an attack..

"Evan, watch out!!" Enpowera yelled out, snapping out of the hypnosis at the sight of the fireball heading towards her youngest pokemon. Unfortunately the call came slightly to late, Evans tail getting burned as he moved to avoid the attack.

"eevee!!" He yelped in pain as his tail caught fire. Evan started running around in circles, panicking at the fact that he was literally on fire. He eventuallly ran into a wall and K.O'd himself.

Blast looked turn between attacking the vulpix again, or putting out the fire on Evan's tail. He eventually settled for shooting a weak hydro pump at Evan, putting out the fire.

"go Flame!" Enpowera sent out her charizard. "Use flamethrower and roast that spinarac!"

Flame obeyed, shooting flames at the spinarac and the Team darkness Grunt.

With a smirk, the grunt watched as the Eevee fainted but his success was swiftly interrupted as he dodged the FlameThrower attack, leaving the Spinarak to attempt getting a shot of Toxic at the Charizard before falling victim to the flame thrower, blown back with little strength left in his burnt and heavily singed green body. Taking a ball from his belt as the Alvah Vulpix sent another wave of much heavier Hypnosis at Enpowera, the grunt held a completely black Pokeball within his hand.

Something their scientists had re-created for Team Darkness from the ideas of Cipher and Snagem. A 'Dark Ball' as they were called, each ball doing a decent job of restraining unwilling captives into a different capsule and making their jobs of snatching Pokemon all the easier. Without a word, the grunt threw the Dark Ball at the small fainted Shiny Eevee, leaving his Spinarak to stand his ground before firing a Solar Beam towards the Vaporeon and his Vulpix aiming a Fire Blast towards the large Charizard.

Enpowera had enough sense to roll and avoid the attack. She watched in horror as her darling Evan was caught in a black pokeball. "No!" She rushed to claim the ball, cursing her eevee's stupidity for getting himself into that situation, and cursing herself for not being stricter with the little one.

blast acted on his own and dodged the attack, firing a bubblebeam at the vulpix.

Flame fired another flamethrower to intersect with the Fire Blast that was aimed at him, the attacks canceling each other out.


"I'll join Team darkness as a scientist if I can keep my eevee" Enpowera stated. It was a hard choice, but she knew it would be the right one.

Ok, I added to my previouse rp post that Enpowera is offering to join Team Darkness, I'll add it to her information as well.

About to grab the dark ball and run off, the grunt only halted upon the female's words which made him turn his head to her in a partial glare. It was true that their leader had ordered them to recruit if possible.. And that recruiting was a greater priority then stealing people's Pokemon. Scanning over Enpowera for a moment as well as her Pokemon, the grunt finally nodded and recalled both the Vulpix and the Spinarak to their Pokeballs. ".. Alright. But you'll follow me to the base before you get your Pokemon back," the grunt growled, picking up the dark ball within the Eevee and attaching it to his belt. "Let's go then, if you're serious about this.. You can have your Eevee back and an Alvah even when you get to the base.." he added with a smirk and began to exit the Pokemon Center.

Flame and Blast looked at their trainer, highly confused. They knew that Enpowera had worked with Team Magma, and Team aqua before, but to actually join an organization?


"Ok," Enpowera answered in a defeated voice. She called back her pokemon and followed the grunt out of the pokemon center. The young woman was tired, defeated, and had almost lost a pokemon. She always knew life wasn't fair, but this day took the proved it.
