Shyara's Journey // Closed //

A young girl her hair swaying slightly in the breeze that blew, Strands of red hair fell over her left eye hiding the fact that it was a different colour to her right. Her arms were crossed over her chest holding a black sketch pad close a pencil resting on her ear.

She wore a smile as she walked tall and proud that she hadnt failed her mother. Having not known her father and after her mother had died Shyara was alone, well would be alone if it had not been for her pokemon.

At her side was her Espeon its coat glistened slightly in the sun light as they walked.
"well we are making great progress Shady...however...I have no idea if we are going in the right direction" she said with a small chuckle as she patted her Espeons head gently before moving over to the side of the path and sitting down.

Shady looked at her friend and nodded her head as she curled around her feet slightly. Shady once belonged to Shyara's mother and had adored her ever since she was littler.

They had been walking slowly for a while now and it didnt help much when Shyara would keep stopping to draw/ sketch a wild pokemon or to simply just rest in the warmth of the sun.

Resting her head back against the tree Shyara smiled softly as she closed her eyes resting them for a breif moment before pulling out two pokeballs from her belt letting out her other two pokemon. "Mareep, Vulpix out you come...cant keep you cramped up all day" she said as she watched her pokemon stretch once the white beam of light faded.

As Shyara took the pleasure of relaxing under the shade of a tree with her Pokemon, a rustle sounded in the trees surrounded them before a pair of brown eyes appeared in a glare as if asking the trainer what in the world it was doing within the forest. But the eyes relaid no more messages before a Pokemon flew out of the tree and on the ground by Shyara and her Pokemon, it's feathers puffed out to create a larger appearance for the bird Pokemon.

Startled at first Shyara looked at the Spearow that had appeared. Returning all of her pokemon into their pokeballs besides Shady. Watching the pokemon for a moment she debated whether or not to fight. Standing slowly she looked around and swallowed before pulling her satchel around and having a look inside. "Damn it" she muttered looking to her friend before looking back into her back. "I did have a pokeball in here....but look...my bag has a hole in it" she said biting her lip before looking at the pokemon once more. "I guess we could still fight it for the experience though" she thought with a smile as Shady stepped infront of Shyara. She gave a small growl not as an attack but more as a warning.

[Naze]

Not taking kindly to the Espeon's growl, the Spearow puffed out it's brown feathers even further and raised it's small red wings above it's head, flapping them and giving a loud caw that acted as a growl to stay away from it and it's possible nest up in the trees. And then with little warning the Pokemon raised into a slightly levitating flight and took a few flaps back before dashing forward, beak first in a Peck attack towards the trainer and her Pokemon.

Shyara stepped back quickly as Shady remained "Shady, use you quick attack" she said biting her lip. She had no idea why this spearow was attacking.
Shady looked at Shyara before charging at the bird gaining speed for its quick attack but before she could get enough speed the was hit by the spearows peck attack. Getting up quickly Shady pawed at the ground turning slightly to check on Shyara once more before using its quick attact. A determined look could be seen in Shady's eyes as it fought to protect its owner and friend.

Due to the difference in level, speed, and overall attack power the wild Spearow could do nothing to dodge the Espeon's attack and fell to the forest floor with a loud thud and a caw of dismay. After a moment of slight moans that consisted of pain, the Spearow got to it's feet yet it's wings slumped as it began to retreat in slow backwards hops, keeping it's keen eyes upon the trainer and it's Pokemon.

Wild Spearow is Now Catchable!

Shyara looked at the spearow as it started to retreat biting her lip gently she stepped up to Shady before she could attack again "its okay girl" she whispered pulling out a sandwhich from her bag and taking half placing it on the ground infront as she moved back towards the tree slipping on something as she did so. Looking behind her she smiled softly "okay...thats...strange this must be the one that fell out of my bag" she said with a small chuckle as she picked up the red and white ball she had slipped on. Looking back at the spearow she watched to see if it would go for the sandwhich she had laid down for it.

Upon closer examination, the Pokemon looked as if it were rather frail, as if it had issues catching recent prey on it's own. Out of sheer hunger, the famished Spearow nearly limped forward and gave a wary glare at Shyara before lowering it's head and began to peck at the sandwhich half, leaving it nearly ravished as it tore into the sandwich.

Shyara smiled "poor thing" she whispered and looked at her pokeball then at the spearow before smiling weakly as she threw the ball at it. "Maybe if it comes with us then...it will have a chance you know Shady" she said softly as she closed her eyes for a moment before quickly finishing the sketch off and putting her book down pulling out two saftey pins from a pocket on her belt and pinning the hole in her bag together.

[Naze]

Too famished to notice the Pokeball hurtling towards it, the flying Pokemon took no notice until it was much too late and it's body was engulfed within a shining red vapor before it retreated with the vapor into the depths of the Pokeball. It shook violently once.. Twice.. A Third time.. and then it gave a light 'ping' of approval, showing that the wild Spearow had been successfully caught.

The Wild Spearow Has Been Caught! Spearow Has Now Joined Your Party.

Shyara smiled softly as she got up and moved over to the pokeball. "thats one pokemon I can save at least" she whispered as she held the ball for a moment before attaching it to her belt. "Come Shady...we have to get to a town now...I need to get some pokeballs and I have no idea how much further the town is" she said looking around not seeing any signs. She smiled as she pat her pokemon on the head before continuing down the path starting to sing softly as she walked.
Shady walked at her side like normal. The two of them where inseperable(sp?) and would never give up on each other. To her friends singing she purred softly. Keeping an eye out on any other pokemon that may attack them.
