Valkyrie?

Well, I can't escape commercials on TV advertising it's release to DVD, RedBox, etc. so has anybody actually seen this movie? I find it interesting that someone decided to make a movie out of the infamous Operation Valkyrie. I hate it, movies mostly butcher history and I'm sure this is no different ; I just want to know if it's decent or not and if it follows history.

So.. Does it? SPOILERS AHEAD Did Fromm get everybody to kill the 'good' guys in the end? I'll die if someone tells me the movie made Operation Valkyrie actually work, 'cause it didn't, it failed hard which sucked for them. Of course, Fromm pretty much sucked in his duty as apart of Operation Valkyrie and died later but, did they show that in the movie? Did Valkyrie just consist of the operation and not anything else in history revolving the Nazis?

I never heard of this movie, what's it about

It's about some of adolf hitler's officers disliking his future plans etc. and they attempt to assasinate him... it's a true story.

A group of Adolf Hitler's officers decide to commit mutiny and attempt to assassinate Hitler through careful scheming and a bomb. Colonel Stauffenberg played a large part in it but in the end the bomb failed to kill Hitler and Fromm (who played a very minor part in it) ordered their assassination. Later when it came out that Fromm was apart of it yet said nothing he was hung. All participants of Operation Valkyrie perished.
