Just a little spark.. That's all that was needed! Razz could only wince as he climbed up the winding stair case, panting loudly and walking off of it on unsteady legs. "Oh.. Oh geez... I'm.. I'm out of shape.. No more stairs.." the man said in between heaving breaths. But he needed an electric Pokemon! Razz had a hunch that maybe these gym leader badges would come in handy, especially if Daisu began to have a want for them. Now that would be hellish! So why not get them now, so he could hide them if that time ever came? Yes, it was the perfect plan! Only.. Razz could only look at his four Pokeballs in dismay. Booster and Char were both fire type Pokemon and he didn't want his beloved companions to suffer against the Sendai Village Gym Leader whom specialized in water type Pokemon. Of course, he always had Yuki his beautiful Froslass but he needed another Pokemon to battle with! Mew was always an option but Razz would be damned if he wasn't dead and rotting before his precious Pokemon took any damage.
So now, here he was busting his physical limits.. Traveling up a tower, it was absurd! "What if I don't even catch one? Then I'll have to send out Booster.." he thought with a sigh, allowing himself to fall upon his rear with a 'thump' in exhaustion, looking down with sad eyes that were filled with a sense of helplessness.

Meanwhile a small raichu was sat opposite sending out a very small amount of sparks from it's cheeks. It did so for about a few minutes, then it stood up and made a shrieking sound which sent electrical discharge everywhere in a radius of 2-3 meters. While trying to recover the long journey from the first floor to the second, Razz let out a loud shriek at the new appearance of the Raichu and quickly dashed down the stairs to just below the floor so no electrical discharge was able to hit him. "Wha.. What? A Raichu.." Razz began to say and then peered back up to see the electrical mouse standing there and the man could only happily smile. It an electric Pokemon! And best of all, it was positively adorable! "Hey, would you mind helping me out a bit, Rai-kun? I need to defeat a water Pokemon but all I've got is fire.." Razz said as if the creature could understand him as he slowly made his way back onto the floor, every step rather cautious as the trainer released his signature Flareon Booster from it's Pokeball, the flame Pokemon standing infront of him in a protective stance. "It's only for a little bit, okay?" he said with a kind wink before the Flareon darted forward with surprising agility, open his fanged mouth to release a large flamethrower attack at Raichu.

Raichu tried to evade the flamethrower attack by running but flareons head followed the agile raichu. Raichu was sent flying back and thudded into a wall with alot of speed. Raichu got to his feet and gathered all his remaining energy, he began to run at a speed of around 100 mph, he had used Quick Attack.

Though Booster began to attempt dodging the attack, it gave a hurt yowl as the Quick Attack nailed him in his side, sending the Flareon flying backward. "Ah! Booster!" Razz began to shout as the overly dramatic man that he was and swiftly dashed forward, catching his Pokemon before it thudded to the floor for more damage. But the stubborn Flareon took no real notice to it's trainer's kind actions as he darted forward once more towards the wild Raichu in hotty anger that it had been hit. The next attack was even swifter as Booster ran forth towards the electrical rat, aiming another flamethrower towards it's enemy.

The Raichu managed to dodge the attack this time, jumping out of the way at just the right moment, and lunging forwards toward the fire-type. It's cheek's began to spark, and when it was close enough, it let out a Thunderbolt attack at Booster, hoping that it's tactic of getting closer would work.

Even as the Raichu's cheeks began to spark with static the Flareon tensed it's muscles, it's claws clenching the ground tightly before Booster ran forward like a shot when the ThunderBolt was fired. Paying no heed to it's master that was nervously fidgeting by the stairs, fearfully watching it's Pokemon battle, Booster made a swift u-turn ran up to Raichu's side, opening it's mouth so that a ball swirling with black and dark purple shades could form and then in that moment the Shadow Ball was fired at the wild electrical mouse's side at a fairly close angle. Due to the fact that both Pokemon had gotten closer in hopes of more efficient attacks, the Shadow Ball was not able to be countered by the Thunderbolt. Releasing a pained yelp, Raichu was thrown backwards quite roughly, thudding onto the ground and almost rolling. However, it swiftly got up, and though weakened, its cheeks began to spark again. Without risking nearing again, it sent the Thunderbolt at Flareon.

Smirking in satisfaction, the Flareon took a leap backwards as the wild Raichu began to prepare yet another Thunderbolt. Without needing instructions from it's trainer, Booster's cheeks began to grow slightly larger until the opposing Pokemon's electricity was released in a powerful attack that lit the room. However, it was not a second after the Raichu had released the static from it's orange fur that Booster released a strong FlameThrower attack towards both the Raichu and it's ThunderBolt to counter the attack.

The mouse Pokemon released yelp as the Flamethrower surged past its Thunderbolt, weakening its own attack quite a bit. Then, Raichu supposedly squeaked when the flames engulfed it, thrusting it backwards and unto a wall. Landing on its feet, it began to wobble, the electric charge on its cheeks beginning to weaken rapidly as it glared at the trainer and the Flareon.

Though the Raichu was thrust back violently onto the wall, Booster still had it's firey fur raised in an offensive manner though when Razz's footsteps were heard upon the metal floor the Flareon began to calm itself before returning to it's master's side. "Aw, poor thing.. Oi, oi! You didn't need to go that far I don't think.." the man stated before giving his faithful Pokemon a stroke on it's head as a kind of praise for winning the battle. Though Razz still walked over to the wild Raichu and held an empty Pokeball in his palm that enlarged within his palm. "Don't be bitter, I promise you'll enjoy your life atleast a bit more with us then in a stingy old tower," the man stated wil a good natured smile before attempting to catch the Pokemon by tapping the tip of one of it's pointy ears with the empty ball.

As the trainer approached, Raichu attempted to make itself seem bigger, raising to its tiptoes and raising its head proudly. However, now even five seconds later, it lowered itself, almost crouching to avoid falling over. It closed its eyes, almost frightened, when the ball touched it, before enveloping it in a red vapor. The ball then shook three times, before there was a 'ping' sort of sound, noting that it was caught.
