[Hoping for a Spiritomb]L used to be a detective, he loved venturing into the paranormal and unknown.On a dark October's night Lawliet traveled down to the infamous Sanctine Hospital in search of ghostly encounters.
Lawliet was now at the doors of the abandoned site, the windows and glass doors where not intact and neither was the structure itself. His Honchkrow waiting in anticipation as L entered through the broken glass doors hanging of their hinges.
L took a step inside and Krow flapped it's wings it one brisk movement they both carried on further into the dark eerie death bed of many who had entered before him. He was unsure if he would return alive, but he was willing to take the risk.
In the few hundred yards they had walked through the hospital the exit was now out of site, nothing could be seen. Honchkrow was able to see in the dark so could guide L if he was heading for an injury. ''This place is quiet... too quiet.'' L muttered to himself.They where the only words he spoke for a good ten minutes. They ventured on.
They had no idea where the exit now was or how to get there.
A gust of wind flew past L and his companion, just ahead a great light almost blinding could now be seen. "Here is what i have been waiting for." Said Lawliet with a smile on his face, Krow looked at his owner and laughed reluctantly.

As the light illuminated the hallway in a mysterious, sickly shade of purple, it steadily died down to reveal a stone upon the floor that had a few cracks within it. An Odd Keystone! And that meant.. A few seconds after the light died down, a smog of purple and green began to form out of the cracks in the Keystone to begin forming into a circle, a crooked expression upon it's face as well as eyes that seemed to gleam with the madness of many malovolent spirits that made this Pokemon a reality rather then a mirage or haunting. The ghost gave a cry as it locked onto L, and if possible, it's expression only grew less inviting by the moment. The spiritomb gave a ghastly cry that pierced through the silence of the deserted hospital before sending a wave of Hypnosis at L and Krow!

L had never seen this Pokemon, he was
shocked and slightly scared. Suddenly some sort of blast came their way, Krow pushed L out of the way and the blast was absorbed by the wall.
"Jesus Christ, what is this thing?" L shouted.
"OK, Krow you know what to do... Use Aerial Ace."
The Honchkrow spiraled through the air to wards the anticipating Spiritomb. |

As the Honchkrow flew at Spiritomb, the ghost Pokemon cackled loudly as if it got joy out of how frightened L seemed to appear for a second and the attempt of the Pokemon attacking him. As Aerial Ace hit, at the same time it didn't. The attack simply past right through the Pokemon, twisting it's crooked smile all the more. But just because physical attacks could not effect Spiritomb, it certainly didn't prevent the malice-filled Pokemon from attacking Honchkrow. The Pokemon gave a cry of malicious delight as Honchkrow flew past, giving Spiritomb the time to send a Shadow Sneak attack at L's Pokemon. [/size] |

"Ha ha, i see your game!" L said whilst grinning.
"Krow use Hyperbeam!, Go!" L watched in anticipation at his yet to attack Pokemon. Lawliet was hoping the battle would end soon, and the outcome would be good.
L cast out all of the things surrounding him and focused on winning. |

As the Solar Beam shot forth, the Spiritomb's expression was altered to one of shock and fear and quickly made for a retreat back within it's Keystone but with Krow's speed being far superior as well as it's attack power, there was no time for such an action. With a screech that seemed like a combination of the one hundred eight souls it contained, the Solar Beam connected with the Pokemon. It was only after the attack was Spiritomb seen, vision spiraling dizzily as it began to seep back into it's keystone slowly.

"I knew that'd work!" L shouted in delight.
Lawliet threw a Poke ball in Spiritomb's direction just before it escaped.
He also released Spike and Poochyena so they could chase the Spiritomb before it got away.

Before the Spiritomb could fully escape into the safety of it's Keystone, the Pokemon connected with the weak Pokemon and engulfed it within red vapor, taking the unwilling Pokemon into the confines of the Pokeball. It shook once.. twice.. a third time.. And then finally, a light 'ping' of approval from the Pokeball that acknowledged the fact that this wild Spiritomb was now caught.
Congrats! Spiritomb Was Caught!
