Takumi was excited, His first pokemon, an adorable Minun, who had the colors of a Plusle. The first thing he wanted to do was set off, but doing so now would be stealing. Besides, he wanted to learn all about his new friend first. He looked at the innocent pokemon as he walked around the town. “Hmmm, so little guy, what kind of attacks do you know? I’m sure you know at least one. Hm…..how about Thundershock?” Minun simply looks up at Takumi weird. “I see, that’s a no, besides your species doesn’t learn that. Try….” He was unable to figure out what kinds of attacks the Pokémon would know., He had only knew that Minun and Plusle were both electric types, nothing more. He sighs and looks around for the professor some more before doing anything else. “Maybe the professor will know, we need to find him before anything else. Lets go buddy.” He says as the Minun gives out a happy cry.

Takumi saw the professor and raised his hand waving hello to him. His new friend jumped down and onto the professor’s shoulder. Takumi couldn’t help but laugh a little. “That’s what I came looking for you for. I changed my mind, remember that Starly I bad my eye on? Well I would like to know if it would be fine to take her along as my first partner” The Minun got all excited and jumped onto the ground. The Pokémon looked so cute the way he would just keep jumping up and down awaiting a response. “I’m sure your aware of how my mom has always been against my heading out and becoming a trainer, but look here, she said it was ok!!!!” Minun then jumped back up onto his right shoulder, standing on top of the strap to the bag. He turned around to show him, and he seemed really excited. Today was finally the day it would seem.

Well of course I remember! You really liked that Starly. But I see that this Minun has really won your heart!
Go ahead and take that Minun with you, she will be good company.

He chuckled a bit. He always remembered all he had done for the o0ther trainers who had stopped by for his or her Pokémon. “What? No equal treatment like other trainers? This minun just ran out to me, why does she look so much like a Plusle? And where may I ask is her pokeball? Don’t I get a Pokedex? I’m sure it’s uncommon for someone to pick an odd Pokémon such as this, but I would like to start my journey today if that’s alright. I yet to claim what I need.” He explains as the Minun on his shoulder starts to run around and play. He did think about that Starly he practically raised since it first arrived. He made sure she could use Growl and Tackle like a charm. She took great care of the Pokémon, and it saddened him to choose another over it. But this Minun was special, it was…..different so to say, and he wasn’t just thinking of the coloring either.

She was born that way! She just had a tad to much of a gene from a Plusle.
Oh, I forgot about her Poke Ball! Here you go *Gives Poke Ball to Takumi*
As for the Pokedex, here you go *Gives Pokedex and Starter Pack*

He took the pokeball given to him which he pulled out of thin air. He pointed it at his new Minun, and returned her to her Pokeball. He then looked at his new pokedex and turned it on ”Greetings, Please insert information” Takumi looked up at the Professor and bowed in respect. “Thank you Professor, I just need to stop at home and tell my mom I’m off. Catch you later!!” He says as he places the pokedex in his pocket and runs back home.
