Kyoto Region
In the land of Kyoto, everything was once peaceful. Much like the other regions in the Pokemon world, humans and Pokemon resided together in harmony. The Pokemon were trained as pets, as workers or as fighters. Everything lived in harmony. Everyone was happy.
That is, until the Darkness arrived…
A team of Pokemon users arrived at Kyoto with a plan; a plan to corrupt the peaceful land. They established a base somewhere and began to stealthily steal Pokemon from their rightful trainers. As their numbers grew, some trainers brought in by the promise of power, whilst Pokemon were both caught and stolen from trainers, the Darkness became more and more influential with every moment that passed.
