You see me as::
A crazy queen bee. River is very, very ambitious, with a background of crime. She's looked into Team Darkness, but can't decide if that's what she wants, because she won't settle for being a grunt. She has her good days, where she doesn't have to steal and she wins all her battles, and her bad days, where she's cruel and mean. She loves music, and some people in the towns she's been in during her journey call her the 'Dark Queen', though she can't understand why.
She's got a really short temper. She can't handle being called names, which causes her to flip out on people who may have been just kidding. She hates loud rooms, crowds, and stupid people, and anyone that associates her with her family gets a pounding. Likewise, she likes quiet things, like books. She can't ever find time to read, though, because she's constantly training, and she finds the adrenaline of a battle addicting. She'll never turn down a challenge.
If it's not her Pokemon, she doesn't care. Likewise, she has favorites among her Pokemon. She's been responsible for the deaths of Pokemon, both directly and indirectly, and she hasn't ever been phased by it.
A history of me::
River Hannigan was born in a house in no city, with no doctor. The person that delivered her was her mother's Chansey. Her father was a very secretive Pokemon breeder, her mother a successful nurse. She, however, couldn't be content with just staying there, kept hidden in the woods. Her ambitions worried her parents, who couldn't keep her locked up. She got her shot when she was 12 years old. Her mother and father had gotten her a Meowth, hoping that having something to do at home could keep her from wandering. Instead, however, she decided that she wanted to be a Pokemon trainer, and after two months of spats, arguing, and anger, she snuck away in the middle of the night, items and bag stolen from her own home.
She trainer her Meowth, affectionatley named Paws, until she managed to defeat a trainer and earn some cash. She bought some Pokeballs, and ended up catching a Misdreavus, an Eevee, a Growlithe, and a Flygon. She trained them all well, throwing her heart and soul into it. However, it still wasn't enough. Even with all of her training, she still had to steal food and money to survive. Nothing was working out.
One day, amid her travels, a Gentleman trainer asked her for a battle. She lost, as usual. However, the Gentleman offered her a trade, saying that she was an 'ignorant little dolt' if she refused. That made her angry enough to accept it, even though she had no idea what she was trading for. Her Flygon had already taken a liking to the man, and he was a better trainer than her, so why not? It was a Salamence. A high leveled one, at that. With some prying into the old man's privacy, she found out a secret - he was her grandfather. Upon confronting him, he said that Shayne would protect her in the place where he and his son and daughter in law had failed. The next morning, he was gone. And that's when her win streak began. With Shayne, (the Salamence) her Pokemon couldn't loose. It wasn't long until her Meowth evolved into a Persian, and her Growlithe evolved into an Arcanine. Her Eevee, through rigirous day time training, evolved into an Espeon. She got to be a common name around the area where she resided. So she left, eager to add power to her name. And then she lost. Twice in a row.
Once, to the Champion of the Leauge, who she had mistaken for someone else. And the other? She doesn't know who he was. But she wants a rematch. And after that, she won some, and lost some, and that's where she is now.
