Kairi cheered,"Yey! I did it!" Ralts cheered as well. Kyukon looked confused. She decided to trust this human and tell her, her story.

"So your master was killed by Team Darkness gunts huh? What's Team Darkness?" Kairi asked. +You'll find out soon enough,+ Kyukon told her. Ralts translated.
"Hey how would you like to come with me Kyukon? I'm a Coordinator, I enter in contests. There very fun. You would love the Beauty Contests," Kairi explainned.
+You mean there are Contests for me to show off my beauty?+ Kyukon asked with Ralts translating.
"Yup, and I can help you get revenge for your trainer," Kairi explainned. Kyukon thought about it and agreed. She didn't like PokeBalls though but would have to go in there for a few minutes. She touched the Ball Kairi offered her and went inside.
The PokeBall dinged, and Kairi let her back out. She then brought out Buneary and used a Potion on her and recalled her. She decided to nickname Buneary, Bunny. The three of them then continued on there way. Ralts was riding on Kairi's shoulder while Kyukon was walking beside her. Kairi didn't know who this Team Darkness was but if she ever ran into one she'd make them sorry for killing Kyukon's trainer

Up ahead, something rustled in a tree above the trainer and her pokemon. There was a brief flash of fur, and then the tree next to the first began to rustle. Investigate?

Kairi sent Mew to see what it was,"Check it out Mew."
"Mew," Mew grinned. It flew up into the tree,"Be careful Mew. It might be dangerous," Kairi informed the Shiny Mew.

The leaves continued to rustle around, and something jumped back into the other tree. After a moment or two, it jumped out onto a long branch, where it was clearly visible. The purple pokemon sniffed, taking in Mew's scent, and the hairs covering it's body stood on end, showing the pokemon was angry.
The Venonat sent a Supersonic attack towards the oddly-coloured Mew, defending it's territory.

Mew dodged,"Mew return! Go Kyukon! Use Flamethrower!" Kairi told the Ninetales. "Nine!" Kyukon said spitting out Flamethrower at the Venonat.

Ouch.
The Venonat attempted to dodge, but didn't manage it, and the fire attack hit, pretty much barbecuing the bug pokemon. It slid off of the branch, and hit the floor with a thud.

After it had fainted Kairi threw a PokeBall at it. She watched the PokeBall fly towards the Venonat. Ralts and Kyukon watched as well.

The pokeball opened, trapping the bug pokemon in a flash of red light. When it hit the floor, it shook violently, like the Venonat was trying extremely hard to break out of it. Eventually, it fell still, and bleeped once.
Venonat was caught!

Kairi cheered after Venonat was caught. After she picked up Venonat's ball, Kyukon tugged at her leg. She felt like they were being watched by someone, someone evil,"What is it Kyukon?" Kairi asked the Ninetales. "Ni," she said pointing. "What? I don't see anything. You must be imaging things Kyukon. Now let's go. I want to get to the first city before night fall." She picked up Ralts and continued walking with Kyukon walking beside her. The Ninetales still felt uneasy but let it slide.

Unknown to Kairi and her Pokemon, a single blue eye watched them all from the shadows that the forest provided. "Juliet, go. Just get the girl, don't bother yourself with the Pokemon. I'll send Ariados with you so it's less trouble,"Ciel whispered and stroked the his Mightyena's soft head though this time she took no pleasure, her pair of maroon red eyes locked upon Kairi and her Pokemon, head craned downwards with stiff shoulders as if in a feral hunting position. "Got it, Juliet?"Ciel inquired but only received a very small nod from her. "Ariados, follow Juliet. Be sure to stay in the shadows!"Ciel began as he released the Ariados that Team Darkness had given him from it's Pokeball, watching the spider Pokemon quickly scurry up into a tree where it was completely hidden from sight. "I'll meet you on the far side of the forest. Howl if you need help,"Ciel said and as he heaved himself onto his feet from the crouching position he kept Juliet raced off and into the open at an amazing speed, zooming past Kairi's Pokemon and for the trainer herself. Good Juliet.. he thought before running off towards the check point where they would meet again. |

Kairi saw it,"Wow! It's a Mightyena." Kairi noticed it was stright for her. Kyukon jumped out in front of Kairi releasing a Flamethrower attack at the Mightyena,"Nine!" Kairi returned Ralts so she wouldn't get hurt. She watched the Flamethrower fly towards the Mightyena.

Juliet sent a fierce glare at Kyukon but aimed her leap perfectly as the flamethrower shot towards her Juliet put all her power into her back legs in a graceful jump. ~Don't interfere, beast!~ Juliet barked at Kyukon in the language that only Pokemon and some Pokemorphs knew. As Juliet flew down towards Kairi, front legs extended in a position that would probably pin Kairi to the ground upon landing, the Ariados that had been given to Ciel leaped from the shadows that the trees provided and shot webbing in a string shot attack towards Kyukon, aiming to bind the creamy furred fox Pokemon. However, the attack did not halt there as Ariados scuttled toward Kyukon on surprisingly agile legs and as the distance of safety of penetrated, the spider raised up one frontal leg which seemed to have a sickly purple glow about it and aimed a stab at Ninetails with the attack known as 'Poison Jab'. Kairi's Mew popped out just as Kyukon was pinned to the ground,"Mew!" Mew said giving Ciel a mean look. "What do you want?" Kairi asked. Her Mew had demanded the same thing just moments ago. Kairi called Kyukon back into her ball so she wouldn't get hurt.

Juliet released growls from deep within her throat, long silver claws kneading the grass below her paws as her eyes didn't leave Mew or Kairi. ~Young Master has given me an order and it is my duty to fulfill his wishes! Young Master's trainer wants that girl, and I will retrieve her for him!~the Mightyena barked and started out in a dash again, weaving around Mew and opening her jaws to snatch up Kairi for the 'Young Master' that was Ciel. ~Do not interfere with my mission!~Juliet barked once more at Mew just before Ariados sent a String Shot from it's mouth towards Mew in order to bind the Pokemon in sticky web. That Mew.. It's much stronger then me, I can smell it.. But I will not fail! Kairi screamed in pain. Mew avoided the attack. It wasn't called a legendary Pokemon for nothing. Mew flew over to Mightyena and used Mega Punch atemping to get it to let go of Kairi,+This human is my friend. She saved my life once, I will not let you take her.+ Mew demanded as it used Mega Punch.
