I'm not struck on Celebi, I like Dragon, Fire, Rock and Grass and a few Bug pokemon. Celebi was only good for the movie. I'm not saying anything else on it.

If you really want to be technical with calling things 'legendary' and the like then I'd have to say my favorite is Arcanine.
However, if the idea's swaying more towards obvious legendaries then Mew would have to top the list for me. So much power but all tucked under it's kindness and childish exterior. Plus what kind of a cat lover would I be if I could resist a floating pink feline?

Arcanine isn't legendary, besides legends were there when the regions were created, therefore they are called legends. As folks aren't sure if they exists. I think I'm talking Myths.. xD I'm not entirely sure but one thing we all know Arcanine isn't legendary and Mew more rodent with a fluffy tail and fur than a feline. |

This 'legendary' status is due to the fact that it is rarely seen within various regions of the Pokemon universe and since it's based off of the beast of Chinese legend known as a Shisa then I'd guess it could bring good fortune to someone. And that's your opinion, not mine. I find Mew to look much more similar to members of the felidae family then rodent. It's tail is also quite sleek. Please don't insult my point of view. Zapdos is the legendary electric bird. Nice choice, I like Moltres and Zapdos. Deoxys is good, it has many forms. On a more.. Higher form Rayquaza is brilliant I caught him in Emerald. Groudon and Kyogre is unbelievable I saved my master ball and.. If its cheating, I duplicated it and caught both easy as pie! On emerald of obviously.

Hey, personally I think it's damn idiotic that Arcanine is considered a 'legendary'. But I suppose it's because of it's rarity? I wonder if it was always like that or if the Pokemon company changed it further on into the Pokemon series.
