Username : Naze Character : Razz Pokemon : Mew Roleplay Example [ Yeah, it's pitifully small. -HeadDesk- ] "Ahh.. How many times I've seen this place.." A voice muttered with weak irritation hinting in the voice as well as a sense of reminiscence. A man that looked fairly young in age traveled through the winding maze that was Lost Forest, a long winding forest that branched off from the beautiful shore that seemed so far behind him. He had done this many times before and wherever you went it would lead you somewhere or other. Lost Forest and Lost Shore only welcomed people who were so immensly lost that they would've given up hope had it not been running into this said to be mythical land. For many, it was paradise because of the rare Pokemon that inhabited it though this traveler didn't care about them even though some watched him from various hiding spots that the land provided.
This man dubbed Razz simply walked as if on auto-drive, his entire upper body hunched over with only his head facing forward with glazed over eyes being their watch. "This place really is the 'mirage land'. It's in the North one moment and then the South, since it only appears for the lost. Nothing short of what we are, huh Booster?"Razz said and finally heaved himself into a correct posture with an almost pained grunt. Razz's beloved Flareon, Booster, looked up at him with a nod. "Sometimes I don't know how I get us into these kinds of situations. This forest will end eventually and when it does we'll go find ourselves something to eat, that sound good?"Razz stated with a loud laugh that caused some Pokemon to flee and Booster looked less then amused. "Ah whatever. I've been through worse.."he muttered with a sour scowl but it didn't take longer then the first few steps for him to look back at his Pokemon who wasn't following him. "Booster?"he called in a confused tone, scanning over the Pokemon shock filled expression that screamed for Razz to stop his steady pace. "What's up?"Razz added though was quickly stopped as the side of his face was met with fine feeling fur that was quite soft.
"Eh?"was the only response that Razz could utter out until he slowly turned his head to face front with wide, frightened eyes. He had expected something horrible, something that might've been the death of him but instead of horror, this sight caused unlimited bounds of happiness. "Mew!"Razz shouted at a volume that could've caused eardrums to burst. "Oh my old friend! I knew you wouldn't stay out playing for too long.. For now you really need to stay by my side.."Razz said with a grave tone towards the end but still smiled in blissful joy as the pink feline Pokemon, the infamous Mew, eagerly went into the red-head's open arms. "They'll fail like any other team but, I'll keep you safe until they do. Or maybe we can sabotage their plan together, hm old buddy? Just stick by my side for now because I hear that the team's wretched leader has some kind of mutated version of Mewtwo.."he stated and released Mew from his grip.
"Mew, stay safe.."Razz said and took out a Pokeball from his jacket. Unlike the Pokeballs of this era, it seems to be made of some kind of stone with a number of warmly colored flames drawn upon it. A Pokeball that seemed ancient from the markings it bore. "I'll let you come out again when we're out of this forest,"the trainer and reluctant general of Team Darkness stated before giving an affectionate pet to Mew's head. ~You got lost again?~Mew finally spoke with a childish giggle that made Razz give a sheepish smile as the Pokemon entered into the Pokeball through a pace of red vapor that was shot out at her upon touching the ancient ball. Username : Konekodemon Character : Daisu Hill Pokemon : Alvah Mewtwo Roleplay Example : Daisu was waiting paiently. His grunts had found his daughter and was bringing her in. He'd finally get his daughter to replace him. If she refused to join he'd have to force her too. The two grunts brought Kairi in kicking and screaming,"You guys aren't going to get away with this!" She demanded. Kairi's Ralts and Kyukon were in cages and her Buneary, Mew and Venonat were still in there PokeBalls. They let Kairi go and walked out the door locking it. Daisu told Kairi what Team Darkness was all about,"So I am giving you the chance of a lifetime to join us." "No way!" Kairi screamed, refusing. "Kairi dear listen to your father," he told her. Kairi was shocked,"No way! Your my father!? Your the person I've been searching for, for years!?" Kairi couldn't take it and colapsed in a chair. Daisu wouldn't give up though. He tried once more to talk Kairi into it. "No way! I don't care if you are my father! I refuse to join a group that hurts both Pokemon and humans!" Kairi screamed. "Then I guess I'll have to talk you into it the hard way then," he said taking a PokeBall off his belt and releasing the Pokemon inside. It was a Mewtwo. But there was something different about it. It was dark in color and looked very evil,"This is what we call Alvah Pokemon. We take the Pokemon turning it evil. That's what makes it stronger and unstoppable. Mewtwo show my daughter I'm sirius about her joining us." Mewtwo started walking towards Kairi, this evil glow to it's eyes. Kairi shoke in fear. Just then her Mew popped out of it's ball. Mew stood in front of Kairi well floating in front of her really. It was growling at Mewtwo. "Mew!" Kairi screamed,"Be careful!" Mewtwo laughed at Mew as it sent Shadow Ball it's way. Mew avoided it. Mew sent Psychic at Mewtwo. Mewtwo avoided it. "Mew!" Kairi screamed. She tried to get to Mew but was held back,"Let's let them go at it for a little while longer," her father told her. Mew and Mewtwo went up into the sky. Mew glowed with a bright blue energy ball surrendering it. And Mewtwo glowed with an evil black energy ball around it. The two then started batting each other back and fort. ......To be Continued in the Real thread

Username : ayane Character : Ayane Kiyoshi Pokemon : Rayquaza Roleplay Example :
Just outside the boundaries of Centerford City, the Kyoto League Champion watched the heavens, beautiful sapphires raised and bright. Her midnight azure hair blew gently as the wind whispered to and caressed her. A calming, pretty sight it was, and it was upgraded when her loyal Pokemon approached from behind and nudged her. She ran a hand under its chin, before a soft sigh escaped her lips; her emotionless exterior was hardly broken, though.
"It's a beautiful sight, watching over those below, is it not..?" Ayane whispered, narrowing her eyes gently as Ryuu grunted in reply; his wings lowered as he glanced down with his master.
The Salamance soon glanced up, wings lowering protectively toward his trainer. Ayane had noticed the presence arriving as well. She glanced up, calm as ever, but deep down, she felt excitement. Was it what she thought it was, the sight she had seen on that tragic night? She was definitely hopeful, and she took a step forward, her breath sticking to her throat.
As soon as Ryuu growled, a faint smile embraced the champion's lips. There was another growl that answered, one that had given her to motivation to become the Champion of the Kyoto, the one that had led her to this destiny. Rayquaza... Its roar was thunderous, its eyes a menacing glare - but that did nothing to stop Ayane.
Swiftly slipping onto Ryuu's back, she glanced up as the approaching shadow. "Ryuu, up," she murmured, calmly emotionless as usual - but a sparkle of excitement could be heard. With a roar, the Salamance took to the skies, Ayane holding on tightly. With movements of physical contact, she signaled to him to go and not worry about her getting hurt. She wanted to catch Rayquaza. She wanted him, now.
If accepted, to be continued in a one-post thread.

even though it's only 2 per member what if something happened to one of the legendarys that we were carrying, like it died, so if it dies would we be able to get a different one since we would no longer have that legendary

Good question. If one of your legendary Pokemon perish then it is in the dirt and dead. No other member can play that Pokemon and once the Pokemon dies it's name will be crossed out. Since no other member can play that Pokemon it is still your dead character. So no, two choices and that's it, if you truly want to keep your legendary then I recommend keeping it alive.
Now if one wants their character to do something and the legendary leaves never to be seen again by that trainer, then that legendary will be back on the market and the user can choose another legendary.
But dead legendaries are still your legendaries. You may not claim another if one unfortunately meets it's end.

Username : Kat Character : Shyara Takashia Pokemon : Shaymin Roleplay Example : Shyara and Shady had been walking around Sendai Village for a while now, before they decided to continue on their way heading to a town that she barely new the name of that she had heard to have the most beautiful flowers that anyone has seen. Their travels had been silent for a while now when they came to a flower patch. Deciding to rest for a while, Both Shady and Shyara sat down. Smiling softly Shyara took out her sketch book and started to draw her pokemon sitting in the flower patch. All of a sudden Shady stood her ears perked up as she looked off towards a distant flower patch where a black figure and a smallish white figure were. Shyara seeing Shady's reaction stood and looked over "come on Shady" she said as she made her way over slowly seeing a Sviper(sp?) and a small white hedgehog looking pokemon. Tilting her head she saw that the Sviper were picking on it. "Shady use your quick attack" she whispered Shady looked at Shyara and nodded before running at the black snake like pokemon knocking it out the way as it stood over the cowering one in a protective manner. Giving a growl as she watch the Sviper hiss before slithering away irritably(sp?) Shyara made she the pokemon was gone before she moved over to the little one "aww you poor thing" she whispered seeing that it had hurt its paw and was injured from the Sviper. Shaking her head she slowly lent down and picked up the odd pokemon "come on lets go get you healed" she whispered softly before she headed off back towards a nearby pokemon centre. Once she had finally reached the town she took the frightened pokemon to the centre and watched the Nurse fix its wounds and heal it up completely. Thanking her Shyara picked up the pokemon and carried it back to the flower patch she had found her in. Gently setting her down "There you go" she said with a kind smile as she pet it once on its back before standing and walking away slowly with Shady at her side. The Shaymin as the pokemon was known to be watched for a moment before running after Shyara biting the hem of her clothes gently and tugging on it. Shyara looked down and smiled "so you want to come with me do you" she said as she knelt down. Shaymin nodded as it jumped into her arms. Shyara smiled as she pulled out a pokeball she had and watched as Shaymin touched the button with its nose before disappearing. When the pokeball twitched and then let out the ping to say it was caught it opened once more as Shaymin came out. She stayed with Shyara then getting carried around by her or riding on Shady's back.

Username : Birdybot Character : Sulteron Koagle Pokemon : Shiny Suicune Roleplay Example : It was the average warm summer's afternoon for Route One. The sun climbed steadily higher in the sky as Pokémon slowly got ready for the night ahead, Grass types making the most of the last hours of sunlight. The glowing orange sun cast a deep glow on the land, pleasently warm as a cool breeze helped anyone or anything who felt too hot to cool down. A rare blissful day, truly. The weather had been wonderful all day, and it seemed the warm, dry lazy weather would continue into the night and the following day. However, not all was right. A large pool, the main drinking source of the Pokémon, lay abandoned by the parched creatures. The sun glinted dully off the still water as a little blue form skipped up to it, followed by an orange creature who dared not get too close and a girl holding a silver fox. the Riolu at the water's edge looked back at the Espeon 'morph girl, Sulteron. ~Sulteron, look! Isn't it such a shame? This must have been the Pokémon's primary drinking pool, and look at it now!~ she exclaimed, waving a paw at the brown-black water covered in patches of all, dead bugs and surrounded by a choking mist. Sulteron frowned. "Rila, I think you may have discovered something here. This would explain why all the Pokémon looked so thirsty, and this doesn't look like natural causes did this. I think... this might be the work of Team Darkness." she announced. Kai, the shiny Eevee in her arms, gasped. Hinote bravely stuck a paw in, then howled. ~Jeez! That burns!~ he complained, waving his paw in the air to cool it off. Rila's eyes widened. ~B-but... you're a Fire type!~ she exclaimed, dipping her own paw in before displaying similar reactions. ~That's acid!~ she moaned, wiping her paw on the grass. As this happened, a single drop of water fell from the sky, landing into the pool. It fizzed and sizzled, evaporating instantly into steam. Soon it was joined by another, and another, until a misty haze swallowed the area as a storm began so suddenly. Sulteron looked around, the gasped. This pool and the surrounding area was soaking her, but all outside, it remained beautiful weather in the sinking sun. She knew something was going on here, and stepped carefully around the pool, walking into the trees begind where the storm was worst. All four of them then gasped in total shock. A Suicune, weak and helpless but to cause storms as he lay fainted, slung over a man's back as though a doll. He was tied up with metal chains, fur in a right state. Sulteron checked Suicune on her Pokédex, but the image was a different colour. "A shiny..." she murmered in disbelief. Without thinking about what she was doing, Sulteron tackled an unsuspecting grunt to the floor, Suicune, still chained, falling from the man's shoulders. The Espeon 'morph snarled at the others, feeling herself shift to her Pokémon form as her mint green fur bristled angrily. She pounced at another grunt while Hinote used Ember on the chains, Rila and Kai hitting them as hard as they could while they were weakened. It was working. With a metallic twang, the chains snapped altogether, freeing Suicune. Sulteron gasped in relief, returning to her human self as she lifted the knocked out Suicune with Kai, Rila and Hinote's help, fleeing before the remaining grunts could fight back. Once they had made good distance, Sulteron examined the shiny legendary's wounds, Suicune coming to as she did so. The wolf rested a paw on her arm. She looked at him. ~Whoever you are, trainer, I owe you a dept. I am young, and was learning to purify water when those men beat me and chained me up. So long as I have free will, you may catch me in a Pokéball.~ Suicune promised. Sulteron gasped, then took out a Pokéball. "Of course! I could catch you right now, then take you to a Pokémon Center, but what about the pool?" she asked. Suicune sighed, shaking his mane. ~It's a trap. They just put a layer of sheeting over the top. Polluting something to that stage would take weeks.~ he grimaced, resentful that he could have falled for it. Sulteron nodded, and the Pokéball in her hands drew Suicune inside it, pinging as the wolf became a member of her team.

I want to be your pokemon She said Yume nodded and took out a poke ball. Okay Yume said, Lugia pushed open the ball and was engulfed in a red light. The ball shook for awhile then was still. Username: rolly Character: Kira Pokemon: Mewtwo Roleplay Sample/Capture: She was panicking again. No, not just panicking as screaming her head off and babbling incoherent speech. She was screaming her head off, babbling incoherent speech, AND running like a chicken with her head cut off. Morbid, he knew, but that was the only way he could describe his trainer's actions at the moment. She'd been doing this for the past 3 minutes now, and she had only woken up from her unconscious state 5 minutes ago. He wondered if she would trip at any given moment or run into the damp, cold, moss covered, cave wall.
Currently, they were in a cave, where said cave was...they didn't know. They, or rather, his trainer had been thrown over board during a cruise in a storm, and now, they were yet again, in another region they had no knowledge about. Axel continued to watch unamused at his trainer's antics, Asero sitting beside him apparently quite amused. Pyrus along with Rio was trying feebly to calm her down. Being the older of the group, he was quite used to these antics by now, and thus really wasn't all that surprised.
A sigh was heard, just behind Axel. Apparently their host, or actually, their savior was growing tired of the panicking human. 'Is your trainer always this...' He trailed off not really knowing the word to use to describe the human's actions. 'Weird?' Axel supplied to the psychic he was speaking to telepathically. 'I suppose.' He replied. 'Are you not going to calm her?' He questioned. 'Nah' Axel replied. 'She'll calm down in a few more minutes.' He smirked slightly as he continued to watch the screaming girl. The psychic sighed again and continued to watch with them.
After a while, Axel finally grew tired of his trainer's screaming and went to calm her down. Finally calm Kira sat in the circle of her Pokemon and the Psychic who had saved them. She was staring at the psychic intensely, a bit apprehensive to even twitch in his presence. 'Don't mind her, she freaked out like this before with a Gardevoir. She's just probably freaking out because your a Pokemon she's never seen before. Either that or your the vibes your giving off is scaring her.' Axel explained as he laid his head on his trainer's lap. He sat beside her, curling his long tails around her from behind. Pyrus was on their trainer's other side, keeping a close eye on the Psychic as well. Rio and Asero had been returned back into their Pokeballs.
"It's not my fault I freak out..." Kira mumbled, she understood very little Pokemon speech, though she did somehow have a small telepathic connection with her Pokemon. She'd guessed it was probably because of her empathetic nature. She had such a strong connection with her Pokemon, she was able to hear their thoughts, but she was till very new to it, and could only communicate with them on a close range basis. "W-who are you anyways?" Kira questioned, addressing the Psychic for the first time. For a while now, the Pokemon has been sending vibes of irritation and dislike towards her which caused her to be quite cautious around him.
'I am Mewtwo. A creation of man, cloned from Mew, and known as most powerful Pokemon in the world.' He replied. His deep, godly like voice echoed through the large cave that they resided in. It also made Kira flinch slightly. "Most powerful? That can be debatable...can't it?" She questioned, just out of curiosity. 'Perhaps.' Was his only reply.
3 weeks, perhaps a month had passed since then. They'd taken refuge in Mewtwo's cave, waiting for the injuries that their trainer had sustained during the storm to heal. Now they stood at the entrance of the cave just a about to leave when Kira looked back and slightly frowned. "Won't you come with us?" Kira questioned for the umpteenth time, during their stay, she'd been trying to convince the Psychic to join them, having felt, apparently his lonely nature. As always, and what he would forever reply to that question was 'No.' Sadly, well only on Kira's part, they departed, leaving the Psychic. It wasn't until 2 months later that they met him again, only this time he was the one that needed rescuing.
He had been hunted down by a Team, similar to that of Team Galactic, to be captured, used and abused to become some world dominating weapon. Luckily, though they did have to battle, Kira and her team were able to save Mewtwo and runaway, going into hiding until things cooled down. Currently now, they were yet in another cave, hiding from the enemy that was still up and about searching for them. When things had cooled down and Mewtwo was healed, Kira asked once more. "Won't you come join us?" When Mewtwo replied like he always did, Kira made a selfish argument, that all her Pokemon seemed to agree to. "We saved your life, you owe us!" She declared. "Also, you can't keep running away forever! You keep hiding all the time. They're going to catch you again and perhaps next time no one will be there to save you or help you, you might not even be able to fight them on you own!" She added. They had all grown quite fond of the Psychic Pokemon and it just didn't settle with them that he should be alone, only to be captured again.
This time, Mewtwo was actually considering it. Perhaps being bound to someone was easier, but that meant that he would be putting them in danger. "So?" Kira had said defiantly at his point. "As friends we're supposed to take those risks! You don't have to be bound to me, I just don't want seeing you fighting alone again. Aren't you lonely?" Despite their arguments, he still refused, so Kira and her team devised a plan. If Mewtwo wasn't going to go with them, they were going to go with him. They followed him everywhere, whether he flew at top speed or teleported to some unknown area, they would find him. It didn't surprise them that when he finally cracked he had scolded them and even tried scaring them off once or twice with his attacks. "We're not leaving." Kira said firmly standing her ground along with her team.
Finally having enough with their persistence, Mewtwo simply agreed to travel with them, though he had many opportunities to simply runaway and leave them, somehow something always kept pulling him back. He guessed that he must of picked up the worrisome nature of Axel and Pyrus for their trainer, that he felt compelled to actually protect, or rather, just help her. That girl seemed to get in the most unusual and life-threatening situations in the world. With her the way she was, how could he possibly leave them now?
[[Sorry for the length, I pretty much summarized like 3 chapters of a fanfic I was writing xD. Kinda lame and a bit hurried. Sorry if it doesn't make too much sense o.o]]

You could see small drops of blood from where small debre had hit her on her way out. The girl ignored her injuries in favor of chasing a black dressed figure, a Team Rocket member if all was to be believed. The Team Rocket member had sneaked past the buildings less then watchful guards and stolen valuable research. What the research contained was unknown to all but the top scientists of the research facility, but it didn't matter to Team Rocket. Giovannni wanted the research, and he would get it, even if it meant bringing down the whole building. "Flame, go!" The young woman sent out her charizard, "Catch that thief!" Flame growled to show he understood, before he flew off after the Team Rocket member. A Flamethrower attack later and the Rocket grunt was down for the count. The girl rushed forward and grabbbed the disk containing the research, glad her charizard didn't ruin it. "Good job Flame, return," the young woman returned her charizard to his pokeball. The girl put the pokeball away, and pulled a small black laptop out of her dark blue messenger bag. She turned the laptop on and inserted the disk. A few minutes later and the files it contained were copied. The girl looked up as an officer Jenny arrived, having been told where to go by the girl's fellow scientist. "Is that the thief?" the officer asked, looking at the slightly scorched Rocket member. "Yes officer Jenny, Flame caught him," the girl stated, "and I was able to get my research back." "I'm glad," officer Jenny answered with a smile as she handcuffed the Rocket Grunt. "I know how hard you worked on those reports Enpowera." Enpowera smiled as well, "Too bad the lab was destroyed..." Enpowera sighed, as she turned to head back towards the ruined building. "Why don't you use this as a chance to continue your pokemon journey?" officer Jenny suggested. "That's a great idea!" Enpowera agreed, suddenly a whole lot more cheerful, "I can go around studying pokemon instead of being trapted in that lab all day." And so it was then that Enpwoera decided to explore the Kyoto Region, for better or worse.

Username : Wolven Character : Marley Benson Pokemon : Shiny Mew Roleplay Example:
The current situation could be described as tense but it all depended on the way you looked at it. There was a tension in the air. It was like being in one of those horror movies but you know its really happening and that anything could really happen and that it probably will happen, especially if you were a girl named Marley.
The girl in question pulled her growlithe closer to her side via the collar around his furry neck. Neither made a sound as they waited around the corner of the shabby building. Both growlithe and trainer were listening hard. Marley held her breath as she strained her ears in anticipation of some strange sound but all she could hear was the frantic pounding of her heart.
The young officer let out her breath in a relieved whoosh.
"Its okay, I don't think anyone's inside."
At this opinion, Bruiser shook himself from his stiff stance and trotted a few feet away from Marley. He sniffed around the entrance of a well-worn door. Marley followed, a bit more cautiously and placed a slender hand around the loose handle.
"Stay close, Bruiser. We just need to get the stolen goods. Don't go wandering off."
With this said, she twisted the handle and the door swung forward slowly with an ominous groan. It was pretty dark inside but Marley thought she could handle it without calling out her pikachu. Oh, how wrong she was.
A few steps inside and the floor was creaking. A few steps more and the pair felt a shudder beneath them. A dull ripping sound signaled the collapse of the floor and both human and pokemon fell into dark depths.
Marley was momentarily blind until realizing that her eyes had been closed for more than a few minutes. She groaned, peeked one eye open and nearly let out a scream but thankfully it caught in her throat. Something small and blue was floating inches from her face. She stared at it, mouth agape, trying to register what this thing was and if it meant her any harm. The creature floated backwards, did a flip in mid-air and let out a questioning,
"Mew?"
It was an-honest-to-goodness mew. The reason she hadn't recognized it right away was because it was freaking blue. Of course, she had not been expecting to see a mew, ever. Now there was a blue one, hovering about her head like some weird dream.
Marley couldn't help but let out a somewhat strangled laugh. This mew was as blue as blueberry jam. It seemed somewhat ridiculous in a way but it was best to probably leave it here. She picked herself painfully up off the floor and collected her growlithe who was just staring at the aquamarine creature.
"Come on, Bruiser, we'd better get going."
The two set off through the rubble, Marley rubbing her head a bit. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a flash of blue and whirled around to see the mew right behind her. It giggled a bit and did a loop around her head. Marley tried to shoe it away but it seemed to think that was funny and chased after her hand.
"Right, well, we are leaving so don't try to follow us again."
Marley marched right up a set of stairs and through the door from which they had come. She had had enough of this place anyways. Obviously the building had been abandoned for some time and it would be too dangerous when it was this dark. They would come back in the morning.
She took a breath of fresh night air and nearly choked on it to find that the mew had followed them out of the building. Really, it seemed oblivious to anything that she had said.
"Well, I suppose you could come with us..." Marley muttered tiredly.
The mew just floated around her head serenely.

Being so lost was not, not, not a good thing. Another gust of wind ran through the woods, rustling leaves and blowing her hair around her face. The sky was getting darker now. It would soon begin to rain. As soon as that thought went through her head, the first drops began to fall. She covered her head with her arms, glancing around desperatley for shelter. Nothing. Nothing but trees, rain, and her. Not even any Pokemon. Why were there no Pokemon? Merely hours before, she had been equally as lost, though there had been Pokemon around, playing in this paradise. It had been such a joyful place. But as she had kept wandering, there had been fewer and fewer Pokemon. The last time she had seen another living being, other than the trees, was a Starly that had flown past her, startling her. And that had been hours ago. She was now throughally soaked, and had given up covering her head.
<Please...>
Her head snapped up as she heard a voice. "Hello?" She called out, peering hard to try to see through the rain. It was an impossible feat, and she gave up after just a few moments.
<Over here...>
Her head whipped over to her left, where she was sure it was coming from. A red light glowed in the distance. Water dripping from her face, she hesitated a moment, then took off in that direction. As she got closer to the light, it faded, but she found herself at a cave. Shelter. She stepped inside, a sigh of relief escaping from her lips. She reached up her arms, letting her blonde hair down so that she could wring it out. Midway through this task, though, the red light reappeared. With its glow filling the cave, she could see motion."Are you there?" She called, and immediatley the light faded. She scowled, hesitating only for a moment before marching into the back of the cave like she owned the place. "Who are you?" She demanded, staring into the blackness with a stern face.
<Go away!> The same voice that had called her over was telling her to leave. She frowned. " Not until you tell me who you are, and what you called me for." She turned her head, seeing still nothing but blackness. As she waited, the red light started to glow softly, revealing the speaker.
A Shiny Jirachi.
<My daddy won't wake up...> The poor thing was still a child. And in the cave, in what looked like a bed made of leaves, lay another Jirachi, turned to Stone. Wasn't that what normally happened when Legendary Pokemon.... died? <Please make my daddy wake up. I'm scared.> The Pokemon said again, and she looked at him, pity filling her soul. "I... I can't." She said, and she almost heard his heart break. "I'm sorry. It's not safe for you here anymore." She said, trying not to cry. The Pokemon crying was enough. He was so innocent, and so heart broken. "What happened, little one?"
<The bad men came and daddy told me to wish that they couldn't see me.> He said, and she frowned. Someone had killed his father. Why would anyone do that? <She told me to ask for help until someone came to me. She said that only my special friend could hear me. Are you my special friend?>
"I will be, if you want me to be. I'll protect you." She said, and suddenly the little star shaped Pokemon with red markings was buried in her arms. She just held him, allowing him to cry. Even if he was a Pokemon, he had just lost his father. That was painful.
<I want to stay with you.> The little one said, and she smiled softly, hugging him. "Okay." She explained to him about the Pokeball she was holding, and he touched it, allowing himself to be called hers without a fight. Immediatley, he released himself. She smiled, hugging her new best friend like a child as she carried him out into the ending storm, where the sun was showing his face once again.

Username : Birdybot Character : Nox Umbra Pokemon : Alvah Darkrai Roleplay Example : A cool hand stretched across the cool air of the night, guiding the Pokémon with the blackened heart across the streets of the suburbs, a curtain of darkness trailing it wherever it went. Nose twitching as it scented the air, the purely evil Pokémon sought out those who were troubled. It smirked menacingly. The troubled ones always were more frightened than any of the others. This Pokémon sensed a child. Oh, children were great at being scared. This one seemed stressed. Deeply stressed. The two hands came together in a creepy clap, rubbing as a fly does before tucking into someone else's dinner. This was Darkrai, who caused and fed off nightmares. This perticular Darkrai was a mistake, hidden from the world for about a week until he escaped. He cackled as his already shady form grew hazy, before fading into the shadows altogether. A frail old lady who had spotted him through her window squinted, certain she had seen something. She wiped her glasses clean. Nope, nothing. It must have been her poor eyesight... she made a note to see an optition. Meanwhile, Darkrai was ready to cause this stressful young boy some nightmares. He swiftly cut through the shadows, leaving nothing more than a chilly breeze as proof he was ever there. Within seconds, he was inside a run down shack. There was a boy sleeping, beads of sweat on his forehead. He was tossing and turning. He couldn't be older than thirteen, and Darkrai could sense his fear at something. Darkrai's hands rose, a glimmering almost black purple-silver energy pulsing from them, easily finding the boy's mind and beginning to make him sink into a deep, nightmarish sleep. This boy was Nox. His fear and stress was of being appointed the knew leader of Team Darkness. This was a tough, hardened, and very, very dangerous child indeed. After all, he was a werewolf, vampire and Team Darkness leader-to-be with no heart and the only purpose of his creation to be a weapon. As soon as he felt the nightmare touch him, he sensed that this was the work of a Pokémon. Although asleep, his muscles tensed. His mind began to call him... Nox, the moon is calling... wake up, Nox... wake up or die...Nox woke up despite Darkrai's efforts. His werewolf genes were a little strong. He did not let the legendary see that he was awake, of course. He wanted to shock Darkrai, attack and then capture him. So the thirteen year old kid still tossed and turned, thrashing about his tail as though he really were in a nightmare. He felt Darkrai's icey hand on his head. ~Yes... yes... fear... death... lovely...~ he heard him sigh. Nox felt that perhaps Darkrai would be useful if he lived of fear and bad thoughts. As he felt Darkrai completely fooled, Nox clutched a Pokéball; Tayeko's. At the same instant, he threw it and leapt to the floor, changing into his Pokémon form. Darkrai gasped, stunned. Then Nox snarled, wings snapping out to intimidate the Alvah. Tayeko padded slowly closer. Nox glanced over to his closely bonded Absol. ~Psycho Cut. I'll pin him to the wall once you've got him.~ he growled softly. Tayeko roared, tensing her back leg muscles and exploding full force from the floor, claw, sealed with purple light, poudning into Darkrai's chest. Nox used his wings to help him shoot forwards while Darkrai was doubled over in pain, pinning him to the wall by standing on his hind legs. Tayeko growled warningly over his shoulder, ready to attack again if Darkrai struggled to escape. Nox looked at Darkrai. ~Join me.~ he snarled, baring his fangs. Tayeko nodded behind him. Darkrai laughed half-heartedly. ~No way. I'm my own Pokémon, and don't go joining any old weirdo, just because they pinned me to a wall.~ he answered. Nox pushed his claws in a little harder. ~I'm becoming the leader of Team Darkness.~ he declared. Tayeko nodded. ~And he was created to be a weapon, but is good to his teammates, and he's part werewolf and vampire-~ he started to boast, red eyes narrowing. Darkrai cut him off short. ~You make a tempting offer... and I can see you skill, for you managed to turn things around here. Very well, so long as you really are the leader of Team Darkness as you say, I shall join you. Let Team Darkness be all the more feared!~ he grinned, cackling before diving into one of Nox's empty Pokéballs. It barely shook before pinging and falling still.

Username : Thym Character : River Hannigan Pokemon : Azlef Roleplay Example : This place had to be hell. That was the only explination for the damnable lack of a pattern or any sort of path leading anywhere. She had to have died, and this place was her eternal punishment for her crimes. Maybe soon the trees would start talking to her. River Hannigan kicked a tree, letting out a scream of anger and a groan of pain soon after. "Fracking tree..." She muttered, gritting her teeth. Hell, indeed.
She had been wandering in this Arceus-forsaken place for days. Her Pokemon were all exsausted, she was starving, and the forest had shown no sign of releasing them into civilization. No, all that she had seen for days was her own Pokemon, an occasional wild Pokemon, and trees. Nothing of any importance. She ran a hand through her hair, trying to make it feel a bit better than it did. She hadn't had a place to bathe since she found her way here, so she was filthy. Her face was streaked with dirt and grime, and her hair looked like a Murkrow's nest. You could hardly tell what color it was anymore. But luck be damned, she would find her way out of here. Even if she had to climb every freaking tree in the forest to be able to spot her way out. But before that, she had to find something to eat. She pushed her filthy hair out of her face, glaring around again, keen grey eyes searching. Seeing nothing she hadn't already seen, she took off in any direction other than the one she was already coming from.
After about an hour of walking, she was getting incredibly sick of trees, yet again. So when she stopped, turning to look around, and saw a small yet familliar footprint in the base of a tree, she let out a scream of anger, frustration, and hate. She bunched her hands into fists, sitting down at the base of the tree she had kicked an hour before. She sat her face in her hands, trying to catch her breath and calm down before she started again. All was silent for a moment, and she looked up, hearing something she had managed to miss before. Water. Trickling water.
She stood up slowly, listening for the direction of the sound. In the summer heat, after two days without water, she desperatley needed the hydration. She followed her ears, praying to Arceus that she wasn't hallucinating. She wasn't. She let out a shout of triumph as a bright row of trees came into her view, as well as the clearing beyond them. And nestled in this clearing was a lake, perfect. She released her Pokemon, allowing them to drink for a while as she drank herself. The water was clean and pure, sparkling in the hot sunlight. After a while, she returned her Pokemon, taking the oppertunity to bathe herself. She took her time, though in a hurry, not wanting to get sunburned. She put back on her dirty clothes, having nothing else to wear. And suddenly, she turned towards the lake, though she didn't want to.
There, hovering just above the water, was a Pokemon supposedly dormant at the bottom of a lake in a different region - Azlef. She stared at him for a moment, blinking. "What are you..." Her mouth closed against her will, and she started walking towards the water. Within moments, she was submerged - the Pokemon had walked her right off of an underwater cliff. She struggled mentally, though her exterior showed no proof of that. And then suddenly, as if a rubber band had snapped, she was herself again, struggling towards the surface. She broke water with a gasp, searching the air for the Pokemon that had tried to kill her. Damn it, she'd kill him.
~You have a strong will.~ She heard, and she turned around with a splash, treading water. "You just tried to kill me!" She sputtered, outrage plain on her face. She reached for Shayne's Pokeball, catching nothing in her hand. What? She patted her side, where all of her things should be, and found nothing. ~Looking for these?~ She heard, and realized that the Pokemon was suddenly holding her things. Damn it again! "Give me back my things, you vile beast!" She hissed angrily. She started moving out of the water.
~You have a strong will.~ He repeated as she stood up. "So we've established." She glared at him. He tossed her things at her, looking thoughtful. ~You will be my trainer.~ He said, holding up the Pokeball he had gotten from her bag. Without even looking at her, he placed himself in the Pokeball, the satisfactory 'ping' sounding loud in the nature. Her Pokeball hit the ground, now occupied. She blinked, then shrugged. It was a Pokemon, and a rare one, at that. Had to be something good to come out of it. She picked up the Pokeball, grabbing her things. And from that point on, she somehow managed to find her way out of the forest, back to civilization.
