They Say The Devil Dresses In Silk..
A man of quite an average appearance consider what he really is. Standing at an average male height of 5'7 with an equally average build that's rather hidden by the styling of clothing that Crescent prefers to dress himself in. With a rather simple attire, there isn't much to say about his style other then it appears to be extremely tidy, even snobbish to some critical eyes. Though with every compliment or flame his looks acquire, what he's dressed in never changes for the better or worse. Commonly seen in an almost Victorian style tailcoat shaded straight jet black black with round silver buttons going along the sides of each hand cuff as well as near the base of the center front.
The shirt under his tailcoat seems to be a kind of smokey white, seen because of the coat's 'V' line starting at the collar and branching out until it halts near the mid-section. The shirt under Crescent's coat seems to have a collar piece to it as well, tied off by a neatly done tie that seems to have hints of maroon red in it's black thread. Smokey white gloves can also be seen, only being taken off to battle. The only accessory it seems is a silver pocket watch attached to a chain of the same metal that tucked within his coat as well as his black threaded pants for temporary easy reach.
Though his jet black hair seems to be considered fairly short in the back which only reaches to his collar bone, the front bangs which border his pale skinned face loosely reach slightly past his shoulder blades if uncut or nearly reach his shoulders if his hair's in regular check. Through Crescent's average appearance, his slender eyes are most likely the only severe oddity. This is due to the fact that they appear almost red in the iris and then a light yet bright shade of red mixed in with darker shades mixed in similar to sectoral heterochromia at other times. How I Came To Be..
Though none would find it as a surprise, Crescent originated from a family of high class, a family of 'nobility' even. However, one might've called the family blood nobility because of their strong yet cold affiliation with the underworld. Though little people who were on the 'outside' knew of it, most apart of that world were well aware of it and the fearful power that they held. However, this power was held with an iron grip before the birth of Crescent Illuminati where the small family with no other children into a stage of parenthood that allowed little time for their former 'job'. However, to keep everything nice and well paid, the father proceeded to continue their various illegal operations whether it be with the villainous Team Rocket or Team Darkness that was just getting on their feet and the easiest prey to pick for an easy pay.
Meanwhile Crescent lived a rather carefree life, learning how to correctly be a 'noble' with his mother and simply having a calm yet ambitious nature Crescent usually exceeded expectation in his 'average' family house hold. Of course, ten years went by with Crescent remaining completely unaware of his parent's business, rather blissfully going about on various travels with his beloved mother and without the father whom he barely knew on a personal level. Little had always seemed to bother the young child, only living the life he knew without any dreams of becoming an actual Pokemon Trainer or Breeder like the majority of their world. Instead, he was happy with only having a single Pokemon that his father had given him as a 10th year birthday present ; a rather runt sized Espeon and though he knew that this female Espeon was almost abnormally small it hardly even crossed his mind. Though another two years past and Crescent matured with his beloved Espeon, he finally wanted to train the small Pokemon. Upon his mother's approval, Crescent rushed out to train his Pokemon, dashing into the deeper part of the forest to battle some weak wild Pokemon. Hours upon hours slipped past them until the Espeon ran off without an order, towards their mansion of a house. Picturing his Pokemon leaving his side, Crescent followed in pursuit only to be met with the increasing smell of fresh smoke. Running as fast as he could, Crescent's expression turned to horror as he saw his Espeon standing wordlessly infront of the mansion that was now fully engulfed in flames and setting fire to the woods that bordered it.
With that, all Crescent could do was follow his instincts that told him in full to flee. The last he ever heard of it was in a paper stating that two adults were found inside, marked deceased with the child missing, also presumed deceased. Old enough already to begin Pokemon training, Crescent traveled through various regions with his Espeon the only Pokemon 'allowed' to stay by his side. It wasn't until he reached another region at the age of 14 that his life would once more take a turn for the worst.
In the cold of December, Crescent and the Espeon were lost within a forest, running each way and that, unaware to a set of red eyes that so closely watched them. However, maybe it was them that found this beast first as a single step more Crescent halted, an ear piercing yowl echoing through the forest. Obviously, both Espeon and trainer ran in fear of the chance to running into this 'monster' until the end of the forest was in sight. Spirits lifting only until a shadow knocked them back roughly. "You!"it shouted, "You whom stomped upon my tail.. That is unforgivable!"the beast hissed, giving off the silhouette of a Ninetails in the snow. What seemed to be a million apologies were called out in both human language and Pokemon, none appeased the angered kitsune creature in the slightest. "Oh yes.. Now you say so.. You didn't bow to me when you did it at the moment, just ran! You've heard the legend of Ninetails cursing little humans haven't you?"it spoke in a much more sinister almost sadistic voice and with that the forest disappeared, replaced with complete darkness that coiled around them both with only the creamy furred Ninetails placed in the 'middle' of nothingness.
The next thing that came was absolute darkness for Crescent, everything fading as if death had hit him so suddenly he had not given it mind. "Wake human!"was the only thing that awoke him from his voice, the bark that could be familiarized with their Pokemon tormentor. "Notice anything?"it spoke with a smirk, keeping it's sadistic tone in the telekinesis it was speaking through. Though Crescent could only respond with a confused gaze, the Ninetails told him with an impatient sigh. "Oh yes, of course not, you're only human... Were human at least. Each Ninetails has their own custom curse, well this is mine! It's one that turns you into what you little humans call 'Pokemorphs'. Only you can turn into a Pokemon, unlike most. And when someone steps on your tail then you can get stuck with them!"the female beast barked and afterwards the forest returned and it was perfectly light outside, the snow still coating the grass in a rough blanket.
Since that incident, an almost 'normal' five years later, things were going smoothly apart from Team Darkness being on the rise but the grunts they encountered were always easily thwarted by Espeon or Ninetails [if it felt like it]. Ninetails rarely ever fought, nor did it go within a Pokeball. "That's part of the curse. I'll be by your side until I die,"and after many attempts to bring death to the Pokemon, all hopes of anything but natural causes killing their pest were lost. Later on however, Crescent and Kyukon both found a way to seperate themselves from each other and afterwards Kyukon went into the loving care of Kairi Hill. Though Kyukon seems to have put their differences into the dust with her new life, Crescent still holds bitter emotions since the curse given to him still remains.
